I hope this is in the right place for this, I didn't know where else to put it. I was wondering what the mods or the site would think about having SC2 team icons like we have for Broodwar, to show our support for our favorite SC2 teams. Gom just put awesome icons on the banner for the team league for all of the teams that are participating, so that part of the work is done, if we can use those. Just a thought, what do you guys think?

Edit: Just added the larger icons as well.

No, TL doesn't have enough people in the GSL to have qualified for the team league. They are in 9th place, unfortunately.

With the seeds for GSL March (Ret and Haypro get seeded to Code A) they will qualify for the next one maybe.

TL needs 8 players for the team league? So it makes sense to leave them out.

I would also like to see "favourite teams" icon.. but it may be a little bit useless once TL gets a logo because the majority of people would just have the TL logo..

if it was team league specific then there would be a point to it

Honestly, it feels a little premature to be finalizing team icons yet. Things are still up in the air this early in sc2's life. New teams could be forming and teams could break up without much notice. But sure, if the TL web team has free time, this would be awesome!

I don't have a favorite team yet. I will have to watch them in action in the team leagues. But I would love if we had icons. As long as the BW ones do not go away as well. :3

Don't think ToT will happen, Mondi is playing for MYM.
I think it's a bit early for SC2 team icons, the first team league hasn't even started. Wait a season or two to see which teams establish themselves before dong this imo.
