[H] Protoss strat mentioned on Day9

Hey TL. There was a strat used on the daily (funday monday?).

It was a stalker/immortal/sentry build and he said it is able to win 95% of all games. This is obviously a vast exaggeration, but I keep dying from this build as T. I've been considering switching to protoss anyways, and was wondering what this build was.

Can anyone point me to a thread, replay or BO/Strategy?

3 gate robo is a good BO to get the composition.

I believe it was a 2gate robo opening with 2gates before robo. If your pumping probes and head for an expo then you cant support 3gate stalker + immortals.

that being said: it is more and more common to build gateway robo gateway. this is for a quicker observer because you want to see right away if T is expanding fast or going for a strong 1 base play.

Also day9 exagarates quite a bit: a stalker heavy composition is not strong enough to hold on against a PDD rush (which includes marines, a raven and some banshees). you will need zealots and sentrys for that instead of stalkers. with a sentry zealot composition you can even add an additional warpgate because the composition is cheaper per build time and supply (2zealots and 1 sentry equals 2 stalkers in cost)

Thanks all! Clickrush, what is a PDD rush? I'll try and mess around with some stuff and troll the forum for more openers. Gotta learn to be a "4gating protoss piece of shit" as day9 says. Cuz thats how you get to master league
