Sorry guys, I stopped this project because google maps only allows a limited amount of flags at once. So that our vision to mark all the members on one map to see who lives next to you is not possible. Maybe teamliquid itself should implement a users map. Thank you for supporting this.

Hello fellow teamliquid members.
The idea came first when I was wondering if there are some Starcraft fanatics in my hometown. Next I thought about a map where members can mark their town of residence. Would be helpful to organize some member meetings or to find some locals at my next vacation spot to ask about whatsoever. And even the geographical spread would be interesting.
So I created a map with google maps map:

i like it - visualizing information is often intresting and easier to interpret than just a list.
just keep in mind that adding people to the map might be quite a bit of work manually if this takes off.
