This article doesn't really use typical 'interview' format that you see with winners.

Hong Jin Ho (shortened as YellOw) visited Yongsan stadium after being discharged from the air force. There was a year-end celebration there with KT Rolster and its fans. It might be a little cruel for someone who just got discharged from military to run straight to a KT event, but YellOw came there at once without any complaints. He decided meeting with the fans first is definitely worthwhile, after the discharge.
He said, "Being back to a normal citizen is amazing (laugh). I can't believe that now I can do things that I couldn't when I was a soldier (laugh). Meeting with fans up-close is one of them. It feels a little out of place wearing KT uniform after taking off ACE uniform, but it feels great to meet with the players and the fans."
As soon as YellOw entered the waiting room, KT players greeted him enthusiastically. It almost looked like they were greeting an older brother who just came back after being gone for a while. YellOw, however, didn't seem very happy with that welcome.
He said, "This is all fake (laugh). They didn't even greet me all that much before, and now that we're going to stay together for real, they are just trying to look good in my eyes (laugh). I think it's fortunate that I got to meet them here at KT event rather than the practice rooms."
Although he was smiling on the outside, YellOw actually had a lot of concerns as he will return to being a player for KT. He had a lot of discussion with the coaching staff in things like, 'How will I be an asset to the team? What should be my position?".
He said, "I can't be giving them any troubles (laugh). Right now, KT Zerg line is not in a good condition, but I think I can help with fixing the negative atmosphere here. As a senior in the team, I will do my best with helping and encouraging the players."
YellOw said he felt proud that ACE was doing well recently, and he wants to bring that winning energy to KT.
He said, "The atmosphere of Air Force ACE team is really good right now. I wish they will continue to do well. I will bring some of their energy here, so KT will have their spirits uplifted (laugh). It's lucky that the moment I joined KT is the time Winner's League is about to begin. We have "God" Young-ho in our team (laugh)."
YellOw did say it is bit disappointing that KT and ACE must face each other so early in the Winner's League. He did think about facing ACE eventually, but he said it is little difficult facing them so early and fast.
He said, "Reach showed up for the first time in a vs. ACE match after returning to KT. I thought of doing the same, but the match is happening faster than I thought. ACE is really good at analyzing the strategies, so it is little worrying that I would be resting for a long time before Winner's League begins. Still, our team has "God" Young-ho in our team (laugh). As long as he is here, we won't lose (laugh)."
YellOw has special feelings toward KT to a point of visiting a KT event right after being discharged from the military. He hasn't fully escaped looking like a soldier, but he cannot wait for the day where he'll be used to the society again and meet with the fans as soon as possible.
His final comment was, "I'm sure the coach H.O.T-Forever and Reach will give me plenty of help (laugh). I will put in a lot of effort so that I can play in the matches as soon as possible. I want to say thanks to the fans who stayed by me and continued to give me encouragement. I will see you at the stadium!"

Can't wait to see a TVized game from YellOw! He will probably make many fans come back to BW (from SC2) Thanks for the translation.

Thanks for the interview !! Yellow is always full of energy, it's good to see him returning to KT. But again... putting all your eggs on "God" Yong Ho isn't a valid strategy, KT.

hmm, maybe it's the translation but he comes across as very jaded and cynical, especially about his teammates... or maybe that's the way he is? Perhaps people who have followed him for longer can shed some light on this.

excited about yellow finally playing again!

Man, his interview sure was fun to read. I wish him the best of luck! I remember when I first came to the scene watching him getting rushed by boxer, and then learning that he was on KTF (at that time my least favorite team because I was such a SKT fanboy). Hopefully he'll teach those KTF Zerg just how to play

Gonna be cool to see him in a KT uni again

I suppose it's a Korean thing to be slightly cynical when you return to your home as a hyung and see the juniors welcome you - nothing too serious there.

I can't wait till YellOw's first game back at KT. With any luck, he'll also rally up Action and HoeJJa and lead KT's zergs into battle.
If only ForGG hadn't just left this would truly be a joyous occasion.

I think it's a lighthearted joke? It's not meant cynically I believe. It's a way of being modest as well. Instead of being like 'yes I'm so great so they're welcoming me', it's a 'ah, them kids are just welcoming me to get on my good side'... At least that's the way it's coming across to me.
Thanks for the translation! Storm zerg hwaiting! KT zerg line hwaiting as well!
