I was wondering if anyone/how many people would be interested in doing a SC2 lan? I know of a few places in Schaumburg that might be nice, or if anyone has suggestions let me know.

The Chicago area is notorious for not having lans unfortunately. There really hasn't been any big lans there for a while. Any lans would probably generate a lot of attention!

I would know about 10 players who would be willing to join the lan if you know a possible place.

In that case, lets find a place, adertise it, gather 50-100 people and host something with a buyin and a prize pool. Its time that the Chicagoland area had lans as well, instead of just hearing about the other ones.

I checked there games list and SC2 isn't on there, but maybe the list is just outdated I'm hoping. I'm going to stop by there tomorrow

I would so come for this! Count me in. This is not for pros only, right? If yes, then we don't need to get 500 people nor do we need to find prizes. To organize 500 people is a mess... if even 8 people show up so we can get a 4v4 in a room, I'm down for this!

The lan is in Bloomington, IN, but I am originally from the Chicago land area, and I know a lot of others going. It's not too far, especially if you live south of Chicago. There is also a find a ride thread if that's what you need.
