[T] need 2 Rax / 1 Fac / 1 Starport Build

Vas United Kingdom9 Posts October 04 2010 10:33 GMT #1 I been using 1/1/1 and 3 rax build orders from Liquipedia, and they work perfect. Best build orders out there imo But they dont seem to have 2 Rax / 1 Fac / 1 Star prot opening build order can some one plz tell me it User was banned for this post.

kme Serbia176 Posts October 04 2010 14:23 GMT #5 There are variations, you can build the 2nd rax before factory and pump marines with stim. This usually pushes with one medivac or raven. Usually a tech lab is built first and a reactor on the 2nd rax. You can also scout with a factory. The other option is to build the 2nd rax after the starport and go heavier on banshee/tank with marines and/or some marauders. I think that reactor on the first rax is more popular in this variation as you cannot really afford a stim if you go both tank and banshee.

Phrencys Canada270 Posts October 04 2010 15:12 GMT #6 This is gonna sound like a bad advice... but the comp does have a decent 2/1 opening when he goes MM+tanks. Just do 4v4 with very hard terran AIs. One of them ought to use the build. Write it down after the game is done and watch the replay. From memory it goes: 10 depot 12 rax 14 rax 16 refinery 17 orbital pump marines from raxes and constant scvs refinery #2 around 22 factory around 24 at 27 he adds tech labs + reactor to rax and tech labs to factory while shortly supply blocked generally goes MM+tanks from there and push when he has 1 tank with siege. I don't see why you couldn't go starport instead. The build isn't terrible, although VH comp can't do much with it because he's bad at microing his initial push.
