Oh God, I have such a bad feeling about this but I can't help it. It's like inevitability of human death in cheesy horror movie. I'll try to find a replacement for the scenarios where I need to go afk =/

I think it may serve well for us to start discussing strategy now. What roles do we want to nab (ensure mafia never gets it)?

zeks, so should you or I switch the numbers?

Regarding the other matter, at first glance I like Radfield's idea of everybody choosing pro-town or at least neutral roles- let no one take anti-town role for the sake of preventing the mafia from having it as long as there are no KP involved in it. The numbering -> role plan might be troublesome, but it's not like we can't change our plan around after we get more information by draft order flip.

If we are randomizing the numbers, we have to decide on concrete plan about role-picking now since scum would be more eager to mess around the plan when the draft order had been publicly determined. No one yet proposed alternative to Radfield's plan so I am assuming the town will go with that.

How is #1 taking CV are bad thing? We know who CV is, we dictate his/her actions. In fact I would put bigger fos on the person for not picking CV when they have a chance. Nothing is more detrimental than mafia getting the role, unsupervised by clear role selection plan so he/she can conceal oneself without claiming.

I'm going to wait until majority of the people agree this is the plan though. Nothing is worse than meaninglessly jumbling the numbers around.

This is actually an smart idea. Regarding to the current debate, my position consistently has been for publicized randomized (=player list) number claiming but I can see why it wouldn't work if some are reluctant to claim.

If CV goes to mafia, and non-CV mafia claims as CV knowing there would be no cc, it would still be meaningless since it means real CV will not be roleblocked leading to two kills. We might need claim from town roleblocker for CV's innocence to be proven but it is still one confirmed lynch. And even if mafia is charading as CV while real comrade holds the other, as long as the cover is not broken we can force the CV kill to our benefit.

[7][13]. Honestly for moment I am finding people who put fos for attacking the plan than staunch adversaries against number claiming more suspicious.

Right, I picked one of the anti-town roles using RNG generator. Since we are prioritizing copycat solely due to CV snipe possibility, and thus we need to know who the copycat is, how about giving it to completely arbitrary # that is between 5~9? This is my idea of how to make it completely fair.

Look at the first post of five users in this thread right after this post: add the individual numbers of the post time. So referring to citi.zen post above mine, since it is posted 08:29 it should be 8+2+9=19. So after adding the numbers, if the last digits of the number is 1-2, then copycat goes to #5, if 3-4 #6, if 5-6 #7, 7-8 #8, 9-0 #9.

ex) MY POST
citi.zen (11:39) 1+1+3+9=14
citi.zen -IGNORED SINCE NOT FIRST POST-
Bill Murray (12:57) 1+2+5+7=15
Hesmyrr (12:58) 1+2+5+8=16
Radfield (13:01) 1+3+0+1=5
Hesmyrr -IGNORED SINCE NOT FIRST POST-
bumatlarge (15:43) 1+5+4+3=13

14+15+16+5+13 = 63, 3 is the last digit so #6 chooses a copycat.

or of course we can just give copycat to #5 like citi.zen suggests. Are we taking measures to check if #5 will really take copycat like what I am doing in #4 spot?

Except for the copycat problem I don't have that much problem with the current plan, though admittedly I just dropped in and didn't have time to scrutinize it critically. Also above post was just idea of mine since I think mafia might try to make copycat role go to one of them and snipe anti-town PR they want, and this is immediate way I could see of randomizing the number role goes to.

I followed the plan and picked Compulsive Vigilante, it was taken and I am now Vanilla Townie. I am astounded that you quote my post for some completely unknown reason, since I explicitedly said "I picked one of the anti-town roles using RNG generator". I don't know, but I would think one will think I followed my plan and RNG'd for CV/Bad Santa/PoD (anti-town roles) instead of immediately assuming that I took some completely random traitor role.

This could be a soft claim from him to the mafia as traitor. None of the actual townies would find this suspicious at all as we were trying to take roles away from the mafia anyways but the mafia would look at that and think, maybe he's softclaiming to us? They'd quite easily put any of their power roles on him to try and convert him if it's true. (They'd not bother using a KP on him obviously).

Remember at that junction more than two people were specifically mentioning my name as they stressed the new draft order, that one must alter their role choices accordingly. Therefore I posted for everyone that I did what I needed to do by RNG between the three roles.

You immediately follow this statement with assumption about my thinking process that comes out of nowhere, saying "because he would probably believe that his 33% chance of getting a role that's probably already taken is useless"? What benefit does I gain by picking traitor, first, and note that I had consistently agreed about the current town's plan and what I needed to do (#4) was completely necessary for the plan to work.

This are the facts:
* Someone in #1~3 has taken Compulsive Vigilante.
* #4 picked Compulsive Vigilante but it was taken, becomes VT. (in my perspective)
* #5 claims to have picked Role Cop/Copycat/Defensive role.
* #6 claims to have picked Traitor but it was taken, becomes VT.

I see several possibilities here:
* A town-aligned player in either #2, 3, or 5 (I don't see much point to mafia picking Traitor) chose to betray the town and picked Traitor.

Fortunately if we follow Radfield's plan (medic/rolecop target zeks N1) and no one speaks out tomorrow possibility of #5 will be eliminated since zeks will be confirmed townie. I would actually have Alignment cop investigate zeks also for day 1 for this reason to find out his sanity.

* #6 is mafia-aligned or traitor, and is lying.

Meh, even to me it seems unlikely. Mislynch d1 for one mafia members is honestly not worth the trade, though if #6 really in fact take traitor role I can see he trying to frame me for 1 vs 1 trade. The thing is I, being #4 spot, am in fact not that good a choice for traitor to emerge yet- to counterclaim town PR role is much better way of utilizing the role, which is why I think above possibility is more likely.

If he flips Traitor, we get SR as a confirmed vanilla townie, and we get 1 red (traitor), and we get zeks alignment (possibly 2 confirmed townies day 1 and a red dead)

If he flips townie, we then get SR as red (unless the check reveals zeks is traitor then we kill him instead) and we get zeks alignment, and Hesymer being townie also confirms that compvig is in the top 3. We also don't waste a lynch since I can vig him night 2.

Pray said, how do I flipping green reveal SR is red? Note that traitor can be in #2 and #3 spot also. If you are going to do it that way, the proper way to do it would be to lynch #6 to check his validity, and if he flips green lynch #4 and CV #2 or #3. SR is not an investigative role; assuming he is legit, he realized he didn't get traitor and somehow immediately guessed that I am the Traitor- which may or may not be truth.

##Vote SouthRawrea
It is my opinion that town stands to get more information by lynching SR instead of me.
