What ? Death-Eaters walking freely among us ? Something must be done !

I like the "sponsoring a mayor" idea, but we need to have more than one candidate. (and it's likely that the death-eaters are going to sponsor one of them...)
I'm not going to sponsor anyone, it's only my second game so I don't really know the playstyle of everyone.
As always, we really want everyone to be active. We don't want any of these Death-eaters hiding in the dark...

So as of now we have 3 candidates :

MoM /Sponsor :
1)YellowInk / Jspazz
2)Amber[LighT] / AcrossFiveJulys
3)Hesmyrr / Radfield

Opz wanted to nominate Radfield but didn't.

Amber[LighT] wants Radfield as Pardoner

My thoughts for now :

I've seen the aggressive townie style from YellowInk in game XVII, which is why I'm likely to be voting for him. If he is green or blue, we've got ourselves a great ally in an important position. But I'm reserving my vote for now.

I agree 100% on the fact that the MoM must be rolechecked. We really want a trustworthy MoM.

On a sidenote, I'm surprised by all these votes, can the voters elaborate please ?
I mean... i don't remember seeing Roffles being sponsored and all of a sudden Hesmyrr is voting for him.

Yeah I agree.

with the deadline approaching, I cannot hesitate anymore, but I don't like voting for either Amber or Rad so I'll go with YellowInk.

I don't have a specific target for the Day 1 lynch, but if abenson doesn't post some more content, i'll go for him.

For now I'm gonna do what AcrossFiveJulys and amber suggested. I was trying to see the differences between playstyles in mafia XXVII and here for OpZ, but since we are in the same list, I suggest that someone else does this (If I posted something in the lines of "He was mafia in the XXVII and he was less active/aggressive", I don't think it would have any meaning)

I think I'm gonna do this for AcrossFiveJulys and zeks, they were in Mafia XXVI with me so I can do some analysis using the two games.

Yeah, I'm starting to think that my lack of experience makes me go in a wrong direction, but I don't really know everyone's playstyles, so I'm doing with what I have (Sure, I could go and analyze previous games but it looks like experienced players are good at changing personas and such...)

For this time I'm gonna do it my way, if you think it's irrelevant, I'll try something else next time (or this time, we still have ~24H)

Anyway.

AcrossFiveJulys :
He was vig in Mafia XXVI, not very active on day1, stepped up day 2, taking risks and initiatives with an aggressive playstyle. Died day 2

In this game :
Weights the pro/contra of mass nameclaim, but is against (because of chaos / we would need luck to win.) Sponsors Amber[Light], doesn't want Radfield to be sponsored. Has some doubt about Amber[Light] and the fact that he insists to be rolechecked, but votes for him. Day 2 : directs the town's efforts in analyzing other persons. Wants to analyze YellowInk and johnnyspazz

My thoughts : likely to be townie as he tried to fight inactivity giving us the task of analyzing people, I'd like to see more of his aggressive playstyle again to be convinced, but fairly positive.

Zeks :
Townie in Mafia XXVI, he played awkwardly enough to be suspected, but survived until the end. Heavy poster and several one-liners

In this game :
Thinks the MoM is going to show his true face fast by playing pro-town or not because of the risks mafia is taking by playing too pro-town.Inclined to pick Amber or Radfield as MoM. Proposes a nameclaim strategy on the basis that mafia would have to make up names and that the names do not necessarily represents the roles. Defends his strategy. Voted for Amber[Light]. Against inactives. Really likes his nameclaim strategy as he continues to press for it

My thoughts : posted slightly less than i saw him do in last game, but it might be a change of strategy. Still some one-liners. I don't have any read on him as of now. Looking forward to see his way of analyzing people to have a better opinion.

Well, that came out of nowhere. Your first post today contains an accusation with a "simple" analysis.

Fair enough, allow me to defend myself.

First, I just intended the "I'm new" card to be a warning because Roffles was doubting my idea of analyzing previous games based on the fact that it was only my second game and after trying the analysis exercise, it's indeed harder than I first thought.

As for restating what is going on, it's needed for analysis. Not only it allows to sum up the players's posts, but also acts as a basis on which I can start analyzing.

Finally, I do believe it's still too early in the game to have definitive stances on players, especially in this game where there is a lot of inactivity. My not-so-sure position was made to encourage these players to post more.

And as I said in the previous game, I believe that activity calls for activity and vice-versa, so I do like this accusation, but not the way it was done.

As time is passing fast, I'm gonna follow AFJ's logic and vote for Jugan. If it can stir him up a bit, fair enough. I had other targets but they were inactive, so let's go and try this. We can always try killing inactives later if they start voting/posting only to avoid the modkill.

Okay, you know what ? I'm going to nameclaim and roleclaim.
I'm Moody Mad-eye, Auror.
I believe it's safe to do so because :
- If someone else claims Auror, You've got yourself a mafia, either me or him.
- If I'm not the Auror, the other auror should claim. Why ? Same reasons. If you lose the auror and kill a mafia, it's still good for you.
I'm almost sure I'm gonna die tonight now. If I don't, you should consider lynching me then. Don't take risks.

If that was too early, well you tried to target me, and I would have died anyways so...
