ESL Viking CupThursdays at 18:00 CET the ESL Viking Cup marks the premier Nordic event for SC2 players based in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, The Faroe Islands and Greenland.
With the veritable conveyor belt of RTS talent coming from the region the playing field is sure to be extremely competitive despite the midweek timeslot. The two best players from the Thursday tournament will also battle it out the next day, on Friday at 20:00 CET, in a BO7 final.
The entire cup will be cast live with commentary English via livestream.com by Maven and TheBeard (a fitting name for a Viking) as well as various interviews and beta key giveaways. Additionally, well known Nordic players may make guest appearances to co-cast some games.
