Flash, “When I saw the Scouts, I decided I’d take the entire map in my game.”
Q: You led your team to victory with two wins.
A: Since we were on a two-game losing streak, I feel like we would have had no excuse if we lost again. We broke the losing streak now, so all that’s left to do is keep running forward. We’ll keep winning.
Q: In your game against Neo.G_Soulkey, did the game go as you had initially planned?
A: The game did go as I had planned, but since I gained such a large advantage, I could play more comfortably.
Q: Your early game control against lurkers was very good.
A: If I concentrate, I can pretty much always do those kinds of controls. As for today, since I got so many lurkers in the beginning, it’s not a stretch to say that the game was over then.
Q: Did you display such a dominating game because of the scouts in set 1 by any chance?
A: I did. Honestly, I even thought about nuking, but I thought that wasn't a mannered thing to do against an opponent who’s doing his best, so I decided to take every expansion on the map. It was my own way of revenge against Free’s scouts. I think it wasn’t as bad as scouts.
Q: Were you scheduled to play the Ace match as well?
A: I was. But I only practiced my TvZ. I didn't practice a single TvP on Roadrunner, so in truth I was quite worried. That’s because in TvP, snap decision making skills are important, but since I practiced mainly my TvZ, I wasn’t in the right mindset. So I decided I had to go for a timing push, and I ended up using the build I had prepared for the [OSL] Finals. I’m glad it worked out well.
Q: Your team broke the losing streak, but you won two games, so the complaints about a one-man team are bound to resurface.
A: In all honesty, it is an aspect of our team that we do need to work on. But right now, it’s not that big a problem. My two wins weren’t accomplished on my own. It’s because my teammates helped me that I could do it.
Q: Your condition still seems great in round 4.
A: My win rate’s better than I had expected. It’s a new kind of feeling. Also, in terms of all-time Proleague wins, I used to be around 20 wins away from Jaedong, but now I’ve caught up to about 9. I want to make the all-time Proleague win record mine as well.
Q: Last words?
A: I want to thank my Zerg teammates for helping me practice, and to our fans and supporters: with the momentum we gained this game, we will keep winning, so please keep cheering for us.

Stats, “I was waiting for Zero.”
Q: Your thoughts on having won your first round 4 game?
A: It’s been a while since I’ve won. When I won, I was so happy I couldn’t stop smiling.
Q: It’s been a while since you’ve been in the linup.
A: My condition wasn’t great after I had a two game loss streak in WL, followed by two consecutive losses in MSL. On top of that my Protoss teammates were performing so well, so it was a little difficult to get a lineup appearance.
Q: What did you think when you found out that Zero was your opponent?
A: My coach and my manager told me that on Judgment Day, for sure Zero will be fielded, so they told me to practice hard for my PvZ. Because of that I was well prepared, coach H.O.T-Forever helped me extensively, and Violet recommended me a build order. All these things helped a lot. [T/N: For those who don’t know, H.O.T-Forever is, surprisingly, KT’s Protoss coach and not the Zerg Coach.]
Q: Your multitasking was superb.
A: I focused on my multitasking during practice, and I was luckily able to show that during today’s game. I was pretty confident today since I had been doing well during practice, so I was basically all prepared for Zero.
Q: If you were to rate your performance today?
A: I’ll give myself 70 points [Haha, Stats too modest]. Everything didn’t go perfectly like it did during practice, but the overall flow was about right.
Q: Your personal goals for round 4?
A: Since there are 11 games, I think I’d be very happy with about 5 wins. Whenever I get a chance for a lineup appearance, I want to win.
Q: Last words?
A: First off, Hoejja and 815 helped me a lot, rOo, Violet for the his idea on the build order, Coach H.O.T-Forever, I want to thank all of them. Plus, it’s exam time in school, and so Manager Lee Gil Man always drives me and Flash everywhere so that we wouldn’t be uncomfortable. I want to thank him as well. Also, since my 4-game losing streak, my parents have been supportive telling me “If you prepare and try your best every game, then it’s ok even if you lose.” It was a big help, and with the Coaching staff telling me similar things, I could practice without too much stress.
