If you've been out of the loop, who is in the loop and knows which progamers have been throwing games? I don't remember hearing about any of the big names being arrested or called to court (savior, anytime, etc.?)
If this sort of thing happens all the time, then couldn't it also be possible that other forms of match fixing also exist? Teams could also throw PL matches or who knows what...
