General rules
- it's not allowed to share accounts and it will result in a ban when spotted.
- Koreans are not allowed to play the final tournament. They are, however, allowed to play in the ladder itself.
- Banned users from TL are allowed to participate
Sanctions
1. When someone hacks he will be resetted, banned and excluded from any future events (the ones done by TL + WGT that is).
2. When someone freewins/freeloses he will be resetted, banned and excuded from any future events (same)
Disc
In the ladder itself we will use WGTour rules for discing:
disconnect = loss. However, when its a 1v1 with no obs and no way to tell who really disconnected, we will be using the following rule:
1. If you've had clearly the advantage → you can inform WGTour of your win -> /w TLTBot win
2. If none had the advantage → your opponent doesn't have to report the match and you musn't post a complaint
3. If you didn't have the advantage → you musn't post a complaint
Disc Tournament
In the event of a disconnect in the tournament, the player with the higher score cannot receive a loss for the game (unless its a special situation deemed so by the admins such as a terran player discing when 6 zerglings from a 4 pool enter his main and he has nothing to defend with. The game will be replayed unless the player that did not disconnect was clearly winning.
BWScanner
BWScanner will not be used for TLT itself. However, it is our intention to use it for the tournament. So when we do; don’t be surprised.
PAYMENT
PayPal
In your "My Account" on wgtour.com you can signup for TLTour by simply pressing "Sign up for TLT". It will send you to paypal.com with the required payment information. Your payment will be automaticly processed and you are subscribed right away.
It's not neccesary to create a Paypal account if you have a creditcard,
when you follow the link "Sign up for TLT" there is a button in the middle of the screen for non-account holders.
If you want or need an account at Paypal, you can do that here. You must have a creditcard to do payments with paypal, this is for security reasons.
How to add your credit card:
Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express are the accepted credit cards.
For the Membership Process, PayPal will charge your credit card a $1.95 Membership Fee. The charge will accompany a unique, randomly generated four-digit Member Number.
Check your online or physical credit card statement. If you have online access to your credit card statement, it usually takes approximately 2-3 business days for the charge to appear, depending on your issuing bank. If you do not have online access to your statement, wait until you receive your physical statement in the mail to check your four-digit PayPal Member Number.
You will need to enter your Member Number to complete your PayPal Membership.
There are 2 ways to upload funds at your paypal account, with creditcard or bank wire.
Bank
Supported: US, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland.
Go to "My Account" > "Add Funds" and choose the desired way of depositing. The info for this is very clear described at their website. Do NOT forget to mention your Battle.net nickname in your payment information, if you forget this your account can not be activated.
CreditCard
Click on the Send Money tab
Enter the recipient's email address, the amount, the currency, the payment type, and an optional subject and note. The note should be your Battle.net nickname. If you forget this your account can not be activated.
Click Continue
Click the Funding Options link under the 'Source of Funds' heading
Choose the Credit Card radio button
Click Continue
Review the information on the Payment Details page and click Send Money to complete your transaction

Pokerstars
For all the poker players here, we will also be accepting payments with pokerstars. The accountname for this is tltour. Send an email to tltour@teamliquid.net with the following information:
- pokerstars nickname
- transaction id (cashier -> history)
- wgtour id (you can see this by going to your "My Account", in your address bar you will see a link like this: http://www.wgtour.com/modify.php?datab=broodwar&id=12345&type=1. The number after id is your account id, in this case 12345.
All fields are required for verification purposes, emails without this will be ignored. Also to have your payment processed quickly it's best to have a clear subject, for example: "Pokerstars signup for *nickname*".

Bank Transfer:

In Upload funds you can use "Bank Transfer" and tell them how much money you want to send. Then they will supply you with their bank account and a code you must use in your deposit.
Within 2-4 days the money will be added in your Moneybookersaccount, depends on the bank you use.
When it's added you can use "Send Money", tell them how much you want to send and my email address "tltour@teamliquid.net" and mention your Battle.net nickname, if you forget this your account can not be activated.
Creditcard:

In Upload funds you can use "Use new creditcard" if you don't already have added one.
When you have supplied them with your Credit Card number you need to verify for fraud protection.

Western Union
When all other payment methods won't work, you can use Western Union. With Western Union you drop money at your local postal office and I pick it up at mine. Because this requires a lot of manual work, there is an additional fee. The first account is 5$ and every extra account is an additional 1$.
For example, if you signup 2 accounts you need to send 26$ (2x 10$ TLtour + 5$ +1$). This is excluding Western Union fee's (about an extra 5$), so it's a very expensive method which should only be used as last resort.
SENDING MONEY from an Agent Location
Note: This service may not be available at all locations.
* Visit your nearest Western Union®Agent location
* Fill out a Send Money form
* Provide payment to the clerk in cash - including the amount to be sent and appropriate fee(s). Identification may be required. Additional restrictions may apply.
* Get the receipt that includes your Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN).
* Give the MTCN to the person picking up the funds for extra convenience. A test question may be required by law or may be used to help Western Union identify the receiver of the funds.
