NSL Streamers & Casters HELP WANTED

Hello everyone! From the good amount of interest, support and acceptance we received from the previous thread regarding my idea that I put out to the public yesterday regarding a first ever low ranking TL-community based Starleague, I am safe to say that this once crazy dream have become a reality!!! So for all those who are interested of joining and participating in this individual fun and competitive Starleague, please sign right up! Hello TL Casters and Streamers. My name, as you may have already noticed, is wishbones. My job, is to recruit those willing and worthy enough of being streamers, and or casters for the NSL. I am in charge of getting the casters and streamers together. I will need a total of one (1) main streamer with a very good connection, and three (3) main casters who are enthusiastic, energetic, who can make games exciting, and who have good levels of game sense to apply towards casting an NSL game.

I will also be selecting “backups”. These backups will be runner ups for NSL Streamers, or Casters position. I will need a total of three (3) backup streamers, and three (3) backup casters. This will total it out to four (4) streamers, and six (6) casters. Please NOTE: You do not need to be a pro commentator in order to be selected. If you want to tryout, send your submissions regardless of how you feel your casting is. You may fit my requirements, and if I like what I hear and see, then you could very well be one of my choices. As for the streaming position, you will require a very good connection so that lag is minimal if any, and the quality of the stream is as good as it can possibly be.

NSL will be using Livestream when the Ro36 begins. Before that you can all just sit back and relax, but after that the NSL will need you to be there, and on time. But before I just go ahead and make a thread that will recruit anybody, I have decided to come up with an application system so that I can recruit a select few. To apply for this position, you will submit your commentaries to me via PM/URL/LINK/THIS THREAD. Whether it is on your VOD from Livestream (tell me which ones to watch), an uploaded video on YouTube, or even an upload I must download, it does not matter. Just so long as I get to see your current level of casting. If you don’t already have a VOD, YouTube, or an uploaded video/audio file, then you must try to find a way to get that done.

The first set (Ro36) will be casted by replay up until Ro8. After that matches will be live! The dates I will need you to be available on are (YET TO BE DETERMINED), so please do not apply unless you are 100% positive that you can be there. This is because I don't want to have any of the main streamers or casters I picked to back out in the last minute. This would leave me no choice but to re-pick.

For this reason alone, I will take in three (3) extra streamers and three (3) extra casters as backups in the event that someone from the original roster cannot be there on the dates of the Livestreams, (sick, family issue, school, or work, etc). In the event that one of the main streamers or casters fails to be there, I will appoint one of the backups in his place for that day.

Afterwards the main caster/streamer will continue to do his job as planned. If failure to appear was not due to any of the above reasons (sick, family, school, work, etc), and is simply just a no show, then the position will be given to the next in line from one of the backups. As for the no show, he will be relieved of his duties as a streamer or caster in the NSL permanently.

I have decided that Ventrilo will be the best possible program to use, you can get it at Ventrilo Download's Page. The only thing is that you will need to use headphones, or figure out how to stop audio from repeating itself. By that I mean that with just speakers, when I talk to you, my voice would come out of your speakers, and talk back into the mic allowing me to hear myself over and over. I also have a server up and running, ready to go. For those of you who get chosen, I will give you the info and password.

The casters will use the Novice Starleague's Livestream Channel, which is currently verified, and ready for action. When I pick the streamer's, I will give each of you the username/password information to log into the account, and or assign your stream program to be able to use the account. This I can help with if you do not understand.
