When I was younger, I used to own a pair of roller blades. For exercise, I would go to the park and skate around. One day, I fell and scraped my knees badly, leaving a huge wound because the ground was rocky. (This was when I was about 8 or 9) After my knee recovered, I went to the park again cuz I gotta skate.
Thanks to my experience with roller blades, ice skating was a cinch to learn. I got the hang of it on my first try. I love ice skating. It's really great even though it's a bit cold. Sometimes my back hurts after a while because I try to go fast, which requires bending my back (or maybe I'm doing it incorrectly). I do hate the part where your finger might get cut by other people's sharp ice skates (especially the hockey ones). I always worry about that whenever I fall. That's why the moment my hand hits the ice, I pick it up to make sure I don't lose a finger. Ice skating is quite cold and sometimes dangerous, but hey... i gotta skate.
I've never learned how to skateboard, unfortunately. I had a bad experience when I was younger. I went down a hill with no helmet and no experience, and crashed into a tree. Oh, it wasn't pretty.
So now, I use a razr scooter from time to time. I don't really use the brakes. I just use it like a skateboard with handlebars. It's not as cool as riding a skateboard, but it gets me from A to B. In the end, it doesn't matter, cuz I gotta skate.
Which one is your favorite?

and why? And if you want, you can include a picture of your ride.

Basically exactly the same. Though when the fad kind of died and my friends stopped. I continued and got pretty decent :D. Then i moved house and it was far too much effort to go to decent places to skate.
Honestly it takes the least amount of skill to learn how to ride efficiently and you can change directions/stop very easily compared to rollerblades/skateboard.
People say you look stupid on it. It's probably the same kinds of people who make fun of protoss players for using imba units like templar and arbs but fuck that, it's not like i want to become a pro/amateur skateboarder
First off anyone who is worth anything doesnt call it Rollerblading.
I own a pair of Salomon pro skates. They stopped making them so I had to order them from Europe. On these babies I can go faster than almost any bike rider (short of a peloton) in the washington dc potomac trail. You should see there faces >
lol thats a great question. There actually is a technique where you swerve from left to right rapidly to slow down. But unfortunatly you need some distance to to do it.
