(Z)HyuN: “My goal is to get 60 wins from our zerg line”

-How do you feel about your first win of the season?
▲I am happy that our start was successful. I normally lose a lot in televised games, but I worked hard to fix my weak points during the offseason. My playstyle wasn’t as good as it should have been but I’m more confident thanks to my win.

-Your finish-up against (P)Reach was a bit sloppy.
▲I thought that I had a clear advantage. My style has always been somewhat lackadaisical and I have a tendency to play a bit too carefully, which leads to a lot of my losses. My finish was a bit sloppy, but I recognize that as a weak point and I will strive to fix it for future games.

-Do you feel any regrets about your consecutive losses right before the end of last season’s proleague?
▲I lost a lot of confidence after losing so many games last season. Although our zerg line is stronger now, I felt really sorry towards my teammates so to win today felt really good.

-You said that you struggled to shore up your weak points, can you tell us specifically what you fixed?
▲Some of my weak points are not making more drones in games to improve my economy and not checking the minimap enough. I worked hard to fix these weak points, with the help of my manager, my coach and my fellow teammates. I wanted to say thank you for giving me the opportunity to play today.

-So did you fix your weak points?
▲Although my playing today was very weak, I feel that my awareness is heightened because I check the minimap more often now. I hope to improve even more.

-How did you decide on your goal for this season?
▲Truthfully, I don’t really have a specific goal in mind, but I do have one for our zerg line. I hope that our zergs will be able to get at least 60 wins collectively. Although shark lost today, I hope he will be able to do well from now on and we will work hard so that ruby will be able to be successful in ace as well.

-Do you have any last words?
▲I want to thank the players that helped me by giving me feedback during our practice sessions. I hope to show better games for my fans

(T)Light: “I hope to get at least 40 wins this season”

-How do you feel about winning your first game of the season?
▲Since it was my first game in the 09-10 season, I felt butterflies in my stomach. But I felt that I should definitely win my first game. Although I won, it’s a map that’s hard to finish a game on and it was a bit tiring. But, it still feels good to win.

-It seems that your skill level rose, what are your goals for this season?
▲My goal is to get at least 40 wins this season. If I can just maintain my gaming ability from last season, I feel that it’s an attainable goal.

-Your manager, Ha Tae Gi, left for a new post, has anything changed?
▲The atmosphere has changed a lot. Until now, our team has been pretty stoic and serious, but now we are more able to have debates and discussions during our practice.

-How did you practice for your game against (T)DarkElf?
▲I practiced without being careless. From now on, I will practice just as hard, no matter who my opponent is. Although I could have underestimated (T)DarkElf by his lack of results right before he was enlisted into the air force, I practiced hard so that I would be ready and so that I wouldn’t mess up my debut.

-Do you feel a greater sense of responsibility as the team’s ace?
▲It’s not as bad as it was last season. Since my fellow teammates are showing a new side of themselves, I think that this season won’t be as burdensome as last season was. We will work together to do well.

-Do you have any last words that you want to share?
▲We only have 3 terrans left on our team, which makes practicing somewhat harder. Normally (T)tiny would be our 4th, but he was admitted to the hospital recently. I hope he makes a full recovery soon. But some STX players: (T)Bogus, (T)Last, (T)Notice and frozen, helped us out. I would like to say thank you and if they ever need practice partners, we will definitely be there for them.

(T)Sea: “I hope to get 7 wins in each round”

-How do you feel about winning the ace match?
▲Although I did prepare, I didn’t expect to play today. With the addition of ruby, it seems that ace has really become a strong team. Although I have been losing a lot lately, it feels great to finally win.

-It seems that you have been showing some poor play lately, how did you prepare for this game?
▲Although I have been playing poorly since the Winner’s League, now that I think about it, there were a lot of games that I gave away for free. Now I will go back to the old Sea and prepare fully for each game. Now that I only have the proleague to worry about, I will come back like a man, although I did lose some confidence by not qualifying for the individual leagues.

-Which part of the game stuck out in your mind?
▲Since I knew (T)RuBy’s style very well, I was able to choose a build that would counter it. Although his style was the same, I was a bit confused at the different timing. But I was confident in a long, drawn out game and thankfully, I won.

-What is your goal for this season?
▲Not counting the winner’s league, I hope to be able to get at least 7 wins in each round. Although I haven’t really thought about the winner’s league yet, I am greedy for wins there as well.

-Although you were MBC’s ace for a while, it seems that your position is threatened by light.
▲Although we both played an active role for our team, I was in a bad slump last season and I feel that he pushed me out of the role of team ace. Nevertheless, this is a good state of affairs. If our team has two aces, then it’s good since our team will become even more confident and win more games.

-Do you have any last words?
▲I was pretty worried at playing against (T)RuBy. Now that he is on ACE, I hope that he will be able to turn himself around and become a great player. Since we finished our set against ACE, we should be able to practice and help one another greatly this round.

(Z)RorO: “I am full of confidence”

-How do you feel about winning your first game?
▲I was the first player on our team to play and I feel very good because I won. I feel that all of my games will go well from now on.

-Were you nervous about having (P)JangBi as your opponent?
▲During the offseason, I worked hard to adapt to the new maps. Since it was one of the first games of the season, I felt that my opponent’s reputation didn’t mean as much.

-Your opponent used dark archons.
▲I played the game without being aware of the dark archon. I made mutalisks to snipe his high templars, but I saw the dark archon at that timing. Since I saw the dark archon, I went for his empty base instead and it worked very well.

-It seems that you improved greatly, how did this happen?
▲Although my technical skills may be better, I think that the main reason is that I’m more confident now. During the offseason, I received a lot of good advice and practiced a lot, which prepared me well for my first game.

-There’s a lot of expectations for Wemade Zergs.
▲I am very thankful for all the interest in our zergs. I think it’s mainly due to the fact that the zerg strategies have become much more developed and I will work hard to fulfill everyone’s expectations for our team.
Wemade
-It must be hard to practice since you have proleague and individual league obligations.
▲Since the individual leagues are just starting, our practice schedules aren’t that busy yet. When they start overlapping, it will be pretty tiring, but I will overcome it.

-What’s your goal for this season?
▲I hope to win at least 50% of my games and get at least 35 wins. But my true goal is to become the team’s ace. I’ve heard a lot of talk saying that our team lacks a true ace, but I want to be able to fill that spot and stop all that talk.

-Do you have any last words?
▲I want to say thank you to all the people that have helped me practice. I also want to thank Mizuno’s for creating a very comfortable uniform for our team.

(Z)Shine[kaL]: “I made up for my many shortcomings”

-How do you feel about your first victory?
▲I was a bit worried because it was my first televised game in some time but rock sunbae helped me a lot. He gave me the confidence I needed to win and I am very thankful.

-How did you spend your time during the offseason?
▲It felt like the offseason was really long. I really wanted to play in the proleague and I really wanted to give a winner’s interview. After having a jam-packed schedule, it felt like we had too much free time and it was pretty boring. So I concentrated on practicing while keeping myself healthy.

-What is the key to your improvement?
▲Since my weaknesses were so obvious last season, it was very easy to find and fix them. Also, the zergs on our team were all placed together in the practice room, which was very helpful. I learned a lot from sitting next to roro hyung, who gave me a lot of advice and suggestions.

-You won today’s game through your macromanagement.
▲Since I normally play an aggressive game, I anticipated that my opponent would prepare for that. I used that to my advantage and played a macro game instead. Although I lost a lot in practice, my teammates’ advice helped me gain the confidence to win today.

-What are your goals for this season?
▲I really wanted to get the rookie of the year last season, but because my macro in zvt was so poor, I lost way too much. My goals are to help bring my team into the postseason and gain at least 30 wins.

-How is the team’s atmosphere?
▲As the season ended, a lot of new players joined the team and created a new atmosphere by practicing hard. Their enthusiasm was infectious and I practiced hard so that I could win. I want to show a different WeMade to everyone in this season.

-Do you have any last words?
▲When I practiced, I felt that a macromanagement style in zvz was not for me and it was really hard. However, thanks to (P)Rock sunbae, I was able to overcome this stumbling block. I would like to thank (Z)Yuki hyung, (Z)RorO hyung, (Z)Sacsri and hero[join]. When we get back to our living quarters, I will buy you all delicious food.

(T)Mind: “I hope you look forward to our new season”

-How do you feel about winning your first game this season?
▲It was a great way to start the season. Although I was in a bit of a slump last season, everyone has been practicing very hard and I hope that our efforts will show in our results this time.(T)Mind

-You tried a risky proxy factory strategy.
▲It was the strategy I picked after choosing between several different ones. Since my first strike was effective, I was able to take the initiative.

-Since you found the 6 o’clock expansion late, you could have been in a little trouble.
▲I should have checked for an expansion, but I forgot to. For a moment, I thought that I had the advantage, but the thought that he might have expanded hit me and I sent a scout to check. Thankfully, I was able to gain an advantage after the battle and win the game.

-Because of your slump last season, this win must have been very crucial.
▲Rather than the slump, my desire to win was more important. I hate to lose, so I prepared with the mindset that I have to win.

-What is your goal for this season?
▲It seems that our team has been classified as one of the weaker teams, but we have become much stronger and we believe that we can make it to the top. Our goal is to reach the postseason and we will all work hard to get there.

-How do you feel about your new uniforms?
▲Although our uniforms from last season were good, our new uniforms feel more clean-cut and are more comfortable. I like them and the team’s response to these new uniforms have been good.

-Do you have any last words?
▲When I was preparing, I was a bit nervous about preparing this kind of strategical move but (T)Midas hyung, (P)Rock hyung and (T)Major hyung helped me a lot. I wanted to just thank them.

I get the feeling that (P)Rock is the "confidence builder" for the team, lol.

Well I just copied it out the way they said it but I think sunbae is like someone who does what you're doing and started first. Like if you're a gagman, then any gag man that debuted before you would be your sunbae. A hyung implies a more familiar, a closer relationship imo. I think it's because rock is like 5 years older than him while the others are only a few months. It's harder to get closer to your superiors.

선배 is your senior, like someone who started a job before you is your 선배 someone who's above your grade in school is 선배 but a 형 is just someone older than you.
