Gunwitch, an appearing character on Neil Strauss, best selling book "The Game" whose real name is "Allen Reyes", just got charged for murder after attending a party 1st of january and shooting a girl on the face point blank.
People assume he was forcing sex on the victim which on denial led to what is now a pretty bad scenario.
Think again if you want to join one of those seduction communities. (I´ve been on them, most are filled with crazy maniacs like this, some aren´t and very few of those have really good content)
http://www.ktvz.com/news/26342408/detail.html + Show Spoiler +KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. -- A small New Year's Eve party at a Klamath Falls home turned violent Friday night, leaving a woman clinging to life with a gunshot wound to the face and a man arrested and jailed in the crime. Klamath Falls police responded around 9:30 p.m. Friday to the reported shooting at 220 Mortimer St., said Officer Mike Anderson. They arrived to find Amber Tripp, 20, of Klamath Falls, with a gunshot wound to the face. Information gathered there about a reported suspect led officers to Allen Robert Reyes, 31, who was located in the 1800 block of Main Street, about three blocks from the shooting scene, Anderson said. He was detained pending further investigation and could face attempted murder charges, authorities said Tripp was first taken to Sky Lakes Medical Center, and later flown Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, where police said she was listed in critical condition Saturday afternoon. Anderson said police learned during their investigation that Tripp Reyes and at least two others were at the residence for a small party, where alcohol was present. He said it's not yet clear what occurred at the home leading up to the shooting. The weapon used in the incident has been recovered, they said, adding that no one else was injured. The investigation is continuing at this time. At the conclusion of the investigation, all reports will be submitted to the Klamath County District Attorney’s Office. PrintEmail

Every time you read something like this, you need to step back and realize that most estimates place about 45% of United States families as 'owning at least one firearm', and nowhere near 1% of them commit crimes like this. It's pretty unfair to say that ownership of a gun needs to be restricted because of one crazy fucker every few weeks.

Already sounds like a straight-forward, fair trial....

I've read some of his stuff. Seems pretty standard for PUA advice.
His views on guns, though... that's a little scary.
Hope the girl is okay.

Still if you would not have 45% of the population owning a gun the less than 1% crimes would even be less significant. So a statement that the huge availability of guns does not correlate to crime is just ignorant.

------------ I bet this guy used the "would you like to see the gun show" pick-up line.

Lol, does it really matter if sexual assault is assumed? He was at a social gathering, there were either witnesses in the room when he shot her or they were in a separate room...in which case his only defense is that she took his gun and shot herself or he did it in self-defense. If it's straight-forward it's because he is clearly guilty.

I can´t believe people even consider taking advice from him looking at his face. He looks like a sick pedophile for years.

Wow, some girl dies and you make fucking jokes about it. If you did this in the Tuscon shooting thread, you'd be banned I'm sure.

Well the thread title is misleading, as from the article the girl is still alive.
But I am with you on this one, jokes are out of place and would not be surprised to see the bans coming.
EDIT: I am somewhat curious how you can survive after being shot in the face... I would not like to see it but what trajectory can a bullet take to not kill you?! And what's left of your face if you survive...

The Game was such a weird book... like looking into a different world. On one hand not surprised to see freaks like that are present in that community but at the same time that incident probably besmirches the names of some very level-headed people (say what you will about the whole premise of the community).

That guy looks like a crazy mofo rather than a pickup artist (I guess he looks on the outside like he does on the inside). That's pretty sad, hopefully the girl makes some sort of recovery. People with guns kill people.

Be quiet please, this type of discussion isn't warranted here. I also am going to call you a complete fool for your idiotic statement of "People with guns kill people". And no, I'm not going to debate you.
