Oh well, Thorzain sure showed some amazing games. I have NO idea how protoss ought to be beating that mech style from game 1 on XNC though.

Nony is my favorite player but that wasn't even close... Not even close at all. Tyler looked really mediocre. I'm so sad.

ThorZain is officially my new favorite to win this tournament. He's a really flexible player and he just out-played 2 very strong players in his run here. =0

Tyler scouts close position first despite the map only allowing cross-spawns. Thorzain with 10-rax-gas, Tyler with 10-gate. Probe scout is surrounded in the mineral line and loses the probe to a mass of SCVs that converge upon it!

Cyber core done for Tyler, tech lab on the rax. Thorzain gets a CC at his nat.

Now 4:10.

5:15
Tyler playing very safe, no expo up. Reaper out for Thorzain, scouting for ninja expos. Tyler with 3-gate-robo and obs before expo.

7:15
Tyler now with his trademark double-forge strat by building two forges. His natural is now done, with 1 gas gyser taken. Obs is snipped at the terran main by a scan+marines.

8:25
Starport now being made. Bio army for Thorzain. Tyler making gates. Both players happy to macro up and wait. Both players scout with reaper+obs. Repear picks of 3 probes before dying. 1-1 done for Tyler, 1-0 for the terran bio.

10:15
Tyler with Twilight Council now I believe. Thorzain has 2 medivacs, more on the way with Combat Shields and +1 bio armour. Twilight Council on the way for Tyler. Vikings being made now as well.

Tyler saved up a lot of chrono, possibly for the Twilight.

2-2 on the way for Protoss.

12:30
Tyler pokes the terran natural but doesn't take a 3rd yet. Both commentators mention this. 2-2 being chrono-ed. 3rd now being made at 12.

13:40
Tyler gets blink before charge despite his large zealot force. Thorzain floats a CC to 6. Thorzain with 6-rax and 2 ports I think?

No robo units for Tyler so far.

15:35
Thorzain also has 2-2 on his bio. Both armies fight outside the Protoss nat but no charge for Tyler means his zealots are slowed by conc shells and marines chew them out. Tyler blinks around for a good concave but the landed vikings help him squeak out an edge. The remnants of the terran army attack into the Protoss natural!

17:15
Immortal comes out, but dies immediately. Charge finally done but almost all the zealots are dead. Tyler's 3rd dies! Thorzain macroing up hard, 3-3 almost done for him. He makes a 4th at 5.

Tyler gets disconnected when he tried to leave, no gg.

Thorzain wins!
