Forum Index > StarCraft 2 Tournaments |
Here we go again. This weekend is about good games and good fun. Don't rain on that parade. Play nice guys. Here's the very standard and friendly: - NO Balance Whine. - NO Player Bashing. - NO Caster Bashing. - NO BM whatsoever. Breaking these rules (from pg 166 forward) will be met with severe punishment.

I missed that part cuz I have no speakers here atm T_T DRG said something like "Naniwa has been practicing and he has improved but he is still no match for me", then they both did a fake handshake deny and Naniwa did this hilarious awkward strut off to the booth

They would not host these events if they we're not profitable, so please don't give my the 'blablabla revenue is expensive' bullshit. Dreamhack has a much higher prize pool, and they don't even charge for premium and stream in much higher quality with better production all around (my opinion i guess but other points still valid). Dreamhack doesn't have events every month, either.

So if he beats Naniwa gets code S from MLG BUT goes on to get code S the conventional way does Naniwa get the code S then? Yeah, I was wondering this too. But then, DRG may not play as hard to his other games if he knows he is guaranteed a spot anyhow, and it isn't good to have players with no motivation to succeed in the tournament.

Nestea's ZvP is usually quite good. Not as good as his ZvZ, but still very good. His ZvT is where he's said to suffer, but I'm not so sure about that. If you look at his actual play in ZvT it's remarkably solid. Again, not as good as his vZ or vP, but very solid. If you're just looking at results, a big part of the reason why he "only" has a 56% ZvT winrate is largely because MVP is his demon, and they happen to meet up frequently.

It's not as dominant as you'd think if you remove DRG's stats from it. I'm pretty sure realistically he's like 14-2 on the map.
