Although I did know that a single letter would not sway their opinion on the matter (and the response I got was, I'm suspecting a form letter), it still kind of bugged me. As a member of the fan community that follows this show, I have found the actions to be, to say the least, saddening. First of all, before I go into why I am disappointed at Hasbro's recent actions, I want to establish that I do recognize that Hasbro Inc., holds the intellectual property rights to the My Little Pony franchise, and it was within their rights to take down the episode streams. However, I am writing this letter in the hopes that Hasbro, Inc. will perhaps reconsider their recent actions. For many of us, our love of the show started because we discovered the show through episode uploads on YouTube. We spread our love of the show to our friends using YouTube. When we want to rewatch our favorite episodes over and over again, we use use YouTube. International fans who otherwise have no access to the show use YouTube. Yes, there are dubs on local channels. Yet many will prefer to watch the non-dub versions. And with the advent of the internet, keeping up with the fandom means watching the show when it airs in the United States. In addition, while I know that the episodes are available on the Hub official website, the ability to easily rewatch past episodes at any time is also partly a reason as to why I enjoyed having the episodes online on YouTube. YouTube is also an important asset to those who do not or cannot access cable television, specifically the Hub. YouTube exposed us to the show, and its merchandise, and the franchise itself. YouTube was the catalyst that put My Little Pony on the map this year. As you may know, the fan following that the show spawned has been featured in many publications such as the New York Times, Wired magazine, the Wall Street Journal, and many other reputable news publications. *My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic* for many of us who follow the show is not just another show that we follow. It is an inspiration to many of us, and the driving motivation behind many creative endeavors such as art and music. I am sure that the term "Brony" should be familiar to you know, as we who are out of the show's "target demographic" are commonly called. This show has sparked the creation of an entire community both online and in real life as we are dedicated to spreading "love and tolerance" to those we interact with. It has created real life friendships with people who would have normally never interacted with each other, friendships that transcend national boundaries and cultures. And for many of us, this wouldn't have been possible without that first link to an episode on YouTube. So, I, as with many others in the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic fan community, hope that Hasbro Inc. will perhaps reconsider letting episodes exist on YouTube; that you will see that such a decision will not only be beneficial to those who enjoy the show, but also to Hasbro itself. In addition, I hope that the actions and words of a few immature individuals who might have responded to the recent events in poor taste will not be seen as a representation of the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic fan community. Sincerely, Daniel N. Hasbro does have a point though. I really wish they would reconsidered sometime in the future, but there are still ways to get episodes and the fact that I can still watch the Dragonshy in the original post means that we can still watch the thing online on YouTube. Maybe if they get enough civil emails? ^-^ And the PMVs and Pony music still persists. . Anyways. That's that. Sorry for interrupting the recent streams of pony pics. | ||

I obviously don't like what they are doing as a european i can't even buy it on iTunes(at least legally) I don't even want talk about polish dubbing on TV(from what I heard other versions are also bad), moreover I think they are hurting themselves by doing this as it might slow the growth of the fanbase and make some people hate Hasbro, and it seems natural that the main purpose of the show is to market their toys and they will make way more money on that then they will ever make on iTunes(when they will finally make show accurate plushies ofc), why would you want your free advertisement (that people want to watch) to be taken down from the internet? But even if what they are doing is stupid I accept the fact that they own the brand and they have every right to do what they want with it even if its stupid. what hit me in those emails though was how they were using ® and ™ like they wanted to emphasize even more that they own the rights to the brand | ||

Anyway! Sc2 stuff! Heres a weekly update on my starcraft goal! + Show Spoiler + To get top 5 or A brohoof whichever comes first! Rank:21 In masters Brohoof count: 0 BUT! My first ever game back on ladder I found a Brony - I Brohoofed someone! and they said "Yeah sure okay" Then we proceeded to ask each other the favorite pony question. Think his was Twilight Sparkle. He never did brohoof me back but this could count as half a one! Thing's Ive learned - 1. Terrans are OP 2. I need to work on vs Terran 3. Overlords 4. Zergs are random. 5. Terrans are OP 6. More overlords 7. Terrans are very OP 8. I need to work on my Terran Game. 9. I need to use infestors (Yes bloody I know  )10. I need to work on Crisis management a lot. I over react and or lose my Build order if the simpleist attack comes to me. 11. Overlords 12. Hotkey my units, I'm not nearly hotkeying enough and rely on boxing my units and a moving them around. And only micro once the fight begins.
