An hour before the event? Someone must've triggered some automated response. I don't think even Blizzard would stoop so low, or be stupid enough to blacklist a huge tournament like this purposefully. I hope it gets sorted out quickly.

For whatever reason the venue has recently been blacklisted from bnet, obviously they tried to get it fixed before the scheduled broadcast start. When that wasn't going to happen they went live, announced to the audience (both live and on stream) what the status of things was, and gave an approximate time schedule for when it might be resolved by.

No, he's confused. There was a story about an eagle that was part of a similar breeding stream that was killed(I believe it was actually hit by a plane, so not quite so gruesome) but it wasn't one of the Decorah eagles.

It happens when too many people log in from the same IP and you haven't prepared for it. I went to a tiny lan SC2 tournament at an internet cafe once, and they had the same problem. It remained like that for 3 hours or so while they tried to get in contact with Blizzard.
This should be faster though since it's a big tournament.
