Was just pointing out the over-analysis. Age doesn't play into it as much as Baby just being generally better; if Bogus was the same age, baby would still be more famous

Map plays a huge role in that, the relatively small cloud kingdom creates scrappier mech games, whereas daybreak is a lot more clear-cut in terms of positional control. Didn't see the game in question (or don't remember it) so can't really comment beyond that


I definitely agree. Still, there were a ton of weird decisions made in the bomber vs bogus game that I didn't really understand. MVP vs Taeja (btw watch it, awesome game) was super high level play from both players and I don't remember either one making a real mistake. The winner just won through great positioning and split second decision making.

...I'm saying that Bogus has had no run/success that compares regardless of age. If Baby had been 20 when he had his royal road try, he'd still be more famous than Bogus. Age definitely plays a role in terms of getting fame, but it's not the difference if you're comparing the two.

The crazy decisions no one understands are often as high level as the really clear, crisp play; it's just a completely different style. Making 30 good/decent decisions is often harder than making 5 'right' decisions, if that makes sense.
