Even if they were different people that doesnt change the fact that you're a drophacker. Coincidents like that doesnt happen. It's like me starring at your base in the fog of war 20 times in a game, blind countering everything you do and then afterwards i create/ask 5friends to post that im not a maphacker and that it was just a coincidence.

how quickly you point fingers after ONE game. is it not possible that his opponent was having terrible net that day / game?

he offered his account details, go get the proof you need there, if there's any. we know him personally and he's not that kind of person. you're obviously wrong about him making multiple accounts to defend him. now before you go accusing him, go find the proof that he is in fact a drophacker before you look like an idiot again.

saw this at the 1st page
Not evidence for hacks:
Losing to someone with lower APM.
Getting dropped by b.net when you were winning.
Perfect timing with a push. A hallmark of high level play is well timed pushes, catching you when you are teching or expanding and are vulnerable. By itself this is not evidence.
Your opponent failing to react to what he scouts.
Your opponent does something that seems to not make sense.
Your keyboard not responding in a match.

is a replay enough for an evidence? how about my match history? game time I played each match. If you keep focusing on a single replay on a single match. wouldn't that be insufficient proof/evidence?[b]

HHAHAHAHA xD i am crying myself laughing. There is like 10 TL accounts (all made by placebo) where they all say "he isnt hacking nuff said" and all within minutes after eachother. Just stop pretending, its no coincident that your opponents connection is fine alt tabbed but ingame he suddenly starts lagging when you, for some reason, decides not to leave the game when you have one building left. You're obviously a drop hacker, now stop making TL accounts, it doesnt make you more believable.

Lol I know all these guys personally. Placebo especially. We hang out in Philippine SC2 websites. If you think Placebo is indeed a drop hacker, present more proofs.

AFAIK Placebo never hacked in any of Philippine tournaments (both online and "LAN"). It would not make sense if he would only hack in ladder. Tournaments in Philippines don't have ladder rank requirements.

Can you explain what exactly is in that replay that proves that anyone is using a laghack, rather than just, you know, lagging? Just looking at the actions list in sc2gears, it's clear that both people are lagging (because they both make large numbers of actions in a single second at non-spammy times, such as 22:34-22:40ish). Also Piano accuses Placebo of hacking and Placebo denies it. None of that is proof of hacking by itself. Someone on the SEA server might be able to pick through Placebo's match history and see if there are more instances of things like this, of course.

Placebo does have a suspiciously high number of 'friends' showing up in this thread right about now, but again, that's not evidence of hacking, either.

The reason people started defending my case was because, this link was posted on our facebook group.(a group for starcraft 2 players in the PH) I, in no way, told them to post at teamliquid.net to defend my case, they did it at their own will. We know each other because we frequently see each other on events and tourneys, and we all got close and become real friends.

Description: For the record, I play as random, so he wouldn't have know what race i am at the start. In spite of that, he goes 1 rax fe, Let's say this may just be a build against any rush that he figured out or something. Next comes the part where he gets his engineering bay up as soon as he "sees" the starports ( for the record, he never scouted ONCE), yet he still didn't stop there. On all of my air atacks, he just dragged all of his army to the area where i would atack from (despite him having no sensor towers). I've looked at what we call "Weak evidence for hacks"). There's the rule with not mattering if he looks at your base through fog, because he is just looking at what he scouted. Well, the only thing he could see was a blank area. In fact, he didn't even know where i actually was. He glanced twice from 6:15 to 6:25 at my base after already preparing that missile turret. Just a reminder, he didn't know my race until my hellion came knocking. I told him after the game that he had hacks, and he agreed... I mean using them is one thing, admitting is another. Replay should speak for itself anyway.

Description:
At 5:15 he lays down 2 spine crawlers. Keep in mind he has not scouted at all, he doesn't know where my base is, and doesn't know i just produced 2 hellions and there on their way to his base.

At 7:41 he lays an evochamber down right when my banshee is on his way to his base..

At 13:45 he sends out a group of zerglings and right as im getting my third base built. Keep in mind he has no idea where my main is and doesn't have any scouting tools to let him know that i am taking a third. He has no overloards or other units parked at the third..he randomly sends out zerglings straight to the third to denie it.

At 18:21 I have drop loaded up full of marines headed to his main and he sets all of his rally points to his main base. If you look at his vision, he doesn't see the drop coming.

At 19:14 he decides to send all of his units to his third base ( top right base). My drop is in the very top..there is nothing to scout the drop at all and he kills the drop.

At 20:52 I send a drop out to his main and he immediately sends his mutas to intercept the drop. If you look at his vision, you see none of my units at all. He blindly sends his mutas to the exact location of my drop.

At 22:59 I send my whole army out for a push. He quickly sends all of his units to attack move right where my army is so that i can have time to siege up my units.. However he doesn't see my army move out if you look at his vision. He does that all blindly.

At 24:02 he finally finds my main base after not paying attention with some idle corruptors.

In summation, he blindly took out drop ships without any scouting, and countered hellions and banshees without a single scout, he also had no overloard spread throughout the map, he blindly attacked my third, and intercepted my army and it took him 24 minutes to scout where my main base was.

Oh my god. I just actually downloaded and looked at the replay. That was the most painful obvious laghack ive ever seen in my entire life. You KNOW you've already lost, yet you keep dragging it out building lots of extractors and bases in corners of the maps to delay him as it takes about ~5-10 minutes for a laghack to completely drop the opponent (from own experience) and at the end, jesus that was painful to watch. You have one extractor left and you're doing everything in your might to keep that last extractor alive for just a few seconds longer. And why isn't your match history full of this? because your opponent went for a 1base all in. You even typed "fu" (=fuck you) in rage. And to everyone defending him, please stop, you're making yourself look really dumb. He's obviously not going to laghack you, he's laghacking this 1base all in terran. Atleast look at the effing replay, its so obvious it makes me want to cry. If this guy gets put off the list for drophacking you might aswell remove the r1 NA player aswell as they're both equally drophacking. I mean wake the fuck up, the hackers victim even says himself that his internet besides this was fine. And @placebo, you seem to have a horrible personality, whining on "dont ruin my reputation". If you don't want to ruin your reputation, don't drop hack. That's my advice.

This is true, but when you get dropped by Drophackers its looks different then just dropping cause of B.net issues or your internet. The lagg is also way weirder, and also the replay will have the lags.

And Wtf is with this Placebo320 dude? Do you seriously think 10+ accounts, some with less then 10 posts saying ''Placebo320 is a cool bro, no hacker'' not saying he is one, just saying that it doesn't strengthen his case....
Furthermore, I think the Collosi should be removed! (Zorgaz -Terran/AbrA-Random/Zorg-Dota2) Guineapigs <3

Well dragging out a game doesn't necessarily mean anything. Plenty of people do that all the time, and it sometimes wins games, particularly base race situations like this one. I've dragged out a few with refugee Protoss tactics because sometimes, you can Macguyver a win out of them.

As for the 'fuuuu', if you examine the actions list in sc2gears, you'll find that there's a LOT of heterogenous actions by both Piano and Placebo in a short space on/around the 21:33 mark when he says that (not just spamclicks, attacking + macro + moving + whatever). What that likely means is that the 'fuuuu' was typed in the middle of a lag spike (Placebo performs 8 other actions AND types ' fuuuuuuuuuuuuu' in the space of one second, not exactly easy for the likes of Merz or July, let alone some random Plat scrub, and Piano does something similar), and if you've ever lagged in Starcraft, you'll know how rage inducing that is.

For these sorts of accusations, you need to have either hard evidence (definite evidence that shows that the wrongdoing really happened, like a screenshot of someone's maphacking) or a large amount of circumstancial evidence (that is, a lot of coincidences that would be FAR more likely explainable through wrongdoing. Looking at someone's army through fog once could be a coincidence or a random minimap click. Looking at it 12 times throughout a game, and countering the unit composition perfectly, that's almost certainly a maphack)

Here, though, you've not even found a coincidence. Dropping out of a single game through lag is just a happenstance. You could try to rationalise away his protestations of innocence or the lack of other games that demonstrate similar behaviour, but remember that innocent people also claim to be innocent too, and that people who don't hack would also not have dubious match histories. The evidence he is cheating is almost nonexistent, and the 'innocent' explanation explains all the facts perfectly well. The accuser needs to do far better than this.

I don't cheat, but just a couple of days ago, I had THREE freewins in a row on the 1v1 ladder, not through cheating, but just through coincidence. They were all for different reasons too - the first was someone who was AFK, the second dropped immediately out of the Sc2 client just as the game started, and the third was a random player who dropped rather than play out a PvP (I spoke to him in chat because I was getting worried by this time). My match history therefore looks far worse than this guys, and I know for sure I'm not cheating.

Come back with more proof.

I know Placeebo iRL and he doesnt hack. You're just QQing from one game. You're the one who's making a big deal with it. Check his previous matches.

Also the usual time for drop hacked games is 8 seconds. Obviously that's not 5-10 minutes. Right?
