I agree, clock is a god and a legend lol, but in the end, once he loses his strider he's in some DEEP shit because his sentinel got raped and his doom can only do so much.

So ture, SSFIV is great and all, but if your #1 hype match is clock-neo, somehow, someway, (at least IMO) they should have made that the finale

mmmmm fell asleep midway through top 8. west coast streams for east coast viewers usually equals late nights. heard ricky winning again is no surprise what so ever.

once again the fact that they had neo/clock in the midst of the event made SSF4 after seem extremely underwhelming.

I dont think anybody expected that mm to have that much hype. Neo's previous mm at scr was boring so the organizers really underestimated that match.

it really took the breath out of everybody's sails for ssfiv, which is a pity because the level of play in the final 16 was fucking insane, especially the Viper and Abel matches.

Does anyone else enjoy watching the Touhou fighting game Immaterial and Missing Power (IaMP)? It has some interesting features:

Heavy emphasis on bullets. Every character has bullet moves, although some are better than others. They can often cover the entire screen. Dashes are used to "graze" through bullets.
The spirit bar is used to fire bullets, wrong block, and air block (blocking projectiles will also deplete the spirit bar). A large part of the game revolves around depleting your opponent's spirit bar, called "guard crushing", and then using high-low mixups to start combos and add damage.
Spellbombs can be used offensively to continue combos or cover a move's end lag, or defensively to interrupt block strings and knock an opponent away. Each character starts with the maximum 2 spellbombs, and they can be regained by collecting point items.
Super moves are called Spell Cards. To use them, the Spell Card must first be declared using a move. This can only be done once per round, and you regain part of your life bar. For a limited time afterwards, you can use your super move a limited number of times (indicated at the bottom corners).

Wow, I feel like a nerd (or not) for getting that picture =O

I never considered Neo-Clock would be boring. Clock always steps up his shit during MM's and everyone kinda expected Neo going for Cyclops counter-pick (which he's not as good at) and his Santhrax is kinda at a disadvantage given that Doom > Commando assist-wise.

No underestimation really, Clock always puts on a great show, Neo was so classy (see his post on the WCW results thread). All in all, great MM.

Sad that it doesn't seem like we'll get a Neo vs (insert East coast marvel god) 1v1. Neo vs Santhrax or Yipes can get hype, sadly, no one will be dumb enough to MM Justin =(
