No, this is not a joke/trolling thread. We don't need more filler posts asking if it is. Remember to spoiler season 6 content, and clearly label your spoilers.

If I was in his position and did like the show, I'd still probably not want to deal with what TLO had to when he said so, or what TotalBiscuit dealt with when he simply linked to Ponycraft 2: Princess of the Swarm. Day[9]'s strong and much beloved, and I don't think he'd worry that much on a personal level about any fallout, but he also has to be the face of e-sports and that means he has to accept certain realities about that.

Oh god, thank you Day9. Back to watching him playing amnesia \o/ PS: he is not a brony until he comes here and asks to add himself to the list.

The definition of brony is simply a person that is outside of MLP's originally intended demographic that likes the show, which that video pretty much says about Day[9] ("bronyville incoming", can't get much more blatant than that). As for it being boxed, that's whatever; I'm a pretty damn hardcore brony and I don't have any toys and have no intention of buying any. I may reconsider if the future ones are more show-accurate, but yeah. Either way, regardless of who's right, it's not really worth debating; it won't change anything and only has the potential to just stur stuff up. What happened happened, I'm happy, so I'm personally content with leaving it at that.

Yeah know RoKetha, I think Day9 is one of those individuals who has over the years learned to not give a shit, especially against the trolls and haters. I remember on state of the game he was saying that when he gets negative feedback he trys to see where they are coming from to see if there's anything he's said that came off as kind of weird. In this we all know what kind of responses you will get from ponies, however my full trust remains in Day9 to be the biggest badass in SC2 and he shall continue to do so. Also as a side note I loved everybody's wonderful posts on their love for the show and have chosen not to do one myself as I feel I've already expressed such to you all enough. Brohoofs!

Well, I discovered the show after season one had completed, in the great ponyless summer of 2011. My friend turned me on to it when I asked what his icon was in Heroes of Newerth. He told me that it was My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and that I should immediately sit down and watch it. I have never been against watching children's cartoons, I used to watch spongebob every morning with my college swim team during breakfast, and I am also an avid fan of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Even so, I was a little skeptic, simply because of the stigma of pre-generation 4 ponies. I sat down, watched the pilot, and instantly fell in love with the show. Having Lauren Faust as the brains behind the operation definitely helped, since I enjoyed Powerpuff Girls as well. As I kept watching, I kept falling more and more in love with these ponies, each episode had a wonderful slice of life theme, problems to solve, but MOST importantly: The characters were fantastic, and they grew with each episode they were in. Even Rarity, whom many found to be the most one-dimensional character on the show, ended up growing and fleshing out her personality as the season went on. To me, that's what makes this show a special show, that its not a stereotype for each character, they all have their flaws, and they all find ways to get around them to be better "people" as the show progresses. Finally, I hit the end of season 1. I was sad to see it end, probably because I had watched it in one sitting =D, but I was more than excited to find out there was another season in the making. That is about the time that I found the reason why I will stay around with this show long after it stops airing (Hopefully never). The Community. Bronies. Whatever you wish to call it, the group of people outside of the target demographic of a child's cartoon show is what will keep me coming back for more each and every day. It's what keeps me F5'ing Equestria Daily every hour to see what is new, what new stories have been written, what new pieces of art have been made, what new movie trailer sound has been mashed together with ponies. Anyone who has been around this show long enough knows that the sheer quantity AND quality of fan made works is staggering, and is proof in and of itself of a great show. More so than what the fans are making are the fans themselves! I have never met a group of people so nice, tolerating, fun to be around, and all around good human beings than Bronies. If you spent even 30 mins in this weekends Mare-A-Thon, you would know what I am talking about. For example, during the stream at some point we had someone trolling the synchtube chat, spamming it with nonsense. We simply asked him why he was doing it, and said that he thought we were the type of people who didn't deserve to be fans of the show. Now, we could have easily banned him and be on our merry way. What did we do? We invited him into TL's IRC, and let him be on his way. Not only did he stop spamming the chat, he actually joined the IRC and watched an episode or 2 with us in IRC! I have never seen a community be that tolerant on the internet, and I have been from some pretty bad communities. I play Heroes of Newerth alot, and trust me, there would be a storm of cursing and intolerance. But I digress... Of course there will always be people who are of the overzealous type, every fandom has it, but the staggering majority of people mean well, and that is a group of people I would never be ashamed to be associated with. Finally, I simply like the show and its community because it is the WHOLE PACKAGE. Jayson Thiessen has taken over for Lauren Faust for season 2, and in my humble opinion, is taking the precedence she set and running with it well. The music (Daniel Ingram) is constantly getting better and better, and we still have yet to hear season 2's first song! The stories are top notch quality, and I only expect them to get better as well. The fans keep me entertained long after the new episode has aired, and I have not been moved as much as some of the fan-made stuff has hit me. Some powerful emotions come out of Fan-fiction, which have some talent in the making, I'm sure, the comics, and the fan made music has everything you could ever want in any genre out there. All in all, I love this community for what it is. Love and Toleration, and wonderful animation that is pure, 100% happiness injected into a cynical, sometimes downright cold world. Thanks for reading my post guys, good luck to everyone else who wrote out something, Brohoofs to all of ya! I leave you with Bio in pony form =D + Show Spoiler +

My Applejack is still in the box here right beside my monitor - partly because the box is actually nicer being FiM themed, partly because otherwise I'd lose all the pieces. By that measure I'd say Day is a huge fan :p Now seriously, besides his goofiness I don't think it fits him that much, nice he acknowledges the gift though.

I love the show for all that it is, which include but not limited to art style, animation, music, characters, voice actors. The fandom, in short, gives me more of what I love, and a group that I can share my love of the show with. I don't have a story about how I came to love ponies, or any other story for that matter. I don't contribute anything for the fandom, and don't really visit EqD. You could say it's just my second favorite show*, and while you wouldn't be completely wrong, it'd feel off. The fandom makes it more than that, it's not just a show but a community that I belong to, more or less. Turned out longer than I had planned, but I guess stuff like this often does! *+ Show Spoiler + There's one show I would rather get toys for

He has more than basic net awareness and it's not a tricky call to make. True about the toy thing, though. The brushables hold no appeal to me either, though some of the molded plastic stuff is good and I might buy some if not for the fact that they're made with 20-hour-a-day child labor and the fact that I wouldn't really have a use for them (wouldn't play with them, don't really get anything out of displaying them since that doesn't communicate anything worthwhile). Edit: The wiki thing is beyond stupid. The character doesn't even have a name in the show and the wiki was essentially what popularized and standardized the fan names in the first place. But the guys who run the wiki have some kind of bizarre pride in ignoring common sense and using the toy name over the one that people will actually recognize. It's as if they think a fan site that no one outside of the fanbase will ever look at should make every effort to be as useless to the fanbase as possible when talking about a character no one outside the fanbase would know exists.

Having looked around you need to be an actual hairdresser to fix it. If that isn't true, what is the fastest way to get the hair roughly show accurate or at least flat?

I couldn't have my volume up (I'm at school) so I was wondering if anyone else got a glimpse of that and maybe what it means? Just wondering if Destiny was somewhat of a brony, trolling (as he is prone to do) or just checking it out for the sake of checking it out. Sorry i didn't get screencaps or anything. Passed by too quick
