A couple nice plays by townies early on put them in trouble, and they just couldn't keep up with the townies who were getting confirmed. A good game all around, and probably one of my worst late-game performances. I just didn't have the time to get it done. Well played by super down the stretch, despite him getting angry at us derping around on cascades | ||

Was an entertaining game to follow, people in general acted nicely and did analysis without too much spam etc. and the setup was entertaining too. gg | ||

Good shot anyway. I was surprised that anyone suspected Deus after his night 3 "chat" with Sheth. I couldn't convince myself to make a case on him after that. | ||

I should have reasoned this list much more. I actually worked like 2 hours on that list, but I didn't write my thoughts down. :D I guess my mistake was the communication of my reads. I understand english perfectly, but I got to work on my own verbalizations very hard. The inability to express myself appropriate leads to anger when I get the feeling that someone is misreading me on purpose. + I am not really angry at you, it's just so much easier to call someone an idiot than trying to explain what's really going through my mind. If this game was in German, I'd never call someone an idiot. Really, I am terrified by myself, but it's just so easy to be an arrogant idiot rather than a nicely eloquent convincer. lol. edit1: I also think the scumteam did a really good job. Especially sheth. At least until the night where he paniced because of my wifoming and no roleblock happened. Furthermore it is becoming apparent that I am way too passive in playing this game. Im going to try a more aggressive approach in Purgatory. Any last thoughts are appreciated, mafia is really fun, I'm really enjoying this game. | ||

Using the black mail power on the Palmar/syllo hydra day one was a good decision, but I wonder how different the game would have gone if curu would have passed on pardoner and been elected day two instead. Despite only having a 2-shot medic, town really won a big victory with the ProfBadass save. In a setup where giving a certain player town cred is so dangerous, assuming they wouldn't be protected was probably the scum team's biggest mistake. With the elections, I tried to give the scum team several opportunities to sabotage the outcome. Scum had the opportunity to win day 2 by either winning the elections directly or convincing the winners to pass off their powers. Day 3 required both the winner and the runner up being elected, with the potential prankster framing. Day four give the scum an opportunity to spy on the mason quicktopic and day five allowed the scum team to remove the only pro-town option with the double lynch if they wished. Unfortunately, the scum team was never able to pull off any of these. Overall, I felt the election process wasn't as interesting as I had hoped. Day one essentially only had two candidates and was decided before the game began, but at least the black mail made things more fun. After that, the roles passed to whoever had managed to gain some amount of town cred from the lynch or their roles. I think a bus or some more creative play might have been necessary for the scum to secure later elections. There were numerous voting manipulation abilities, but they never came into play. Town never really had an incentive to use them, so that is probably my fault. I think scum was missing one more power role to be able to make up for the town favored elections. Either a godfather replacement or something that would give them the opportunity to earn some town cred. Wish I made the Underboss a backup in case the roleblocker had died. I also would have probably removed the vet and changed a few of the blues looking back. I was wondering what your guys opinion was on the hydras. In a normal setup they may be fine, but in a popularity contest with the elections, I think they were a bit too powerful. There were also cases where one player wasn't pulling their weight and it ended up being more detrimental than beneficial. Poll: What did you think about the hydras?
