Two Hellions are taking out quite a few SCVs at Polt's 4th. Polt massing up Vikings and BCs while TOP is massing up Vikings and Tanks.
17 Vikings for Polt + 6 BCs against 27 Vikings for TOP.

Both players engage their airforces at the left watchtower. Polt's Battlecruisers are being taken out with nice micro by TOP. Polt only has 2 BCs left with 13 Vikings against 18 Vikings of TOP.

The Income for both players is very low as most of their bases are mined out. Polt only has 33 SCVs left now thanks to TOP's Hellion harass while TOP has 66 SCVs. TOP has ceased BC production at 4 BCs and is now making pure Viking Marauder.

The air forces engage at TOP's 5th. 2 of Polt's BCs get taken out and TOP simultaneously uses 2 Tanks to attack Polt's 4th. All the BCs are taken out by the Vikings and Missile Turrets.

31:00
Polt only has 14 SCVs left against 64 of TOP. Polt's 5th is being repelled by Tanks and has to float away. His gold has also been taken out a long time ago.

34:00
TOP way ahead with more of everything and they engage outside Polt's last mining base. Polt somehow holds since most of TOP's army are Tanks that can't attack the air units. TOP re-engages with Viking reinforcement but Polt again holds.

He kited the vikings and the BCs into his missile turrets. Very smart play by TOP

More like Polt attacked into missile turrets with BC's because they literally can't retreat. Nothing special.

There good if you're the players with tanks. You need to lock the ground before going BC's they are just here to gain positions.

I guess it might work better on other maps/situations


But here polt just can't make anything happen with his fleet, with top just slowly pushing foward building missile turrets

BCs also too slow to protect SCVs from hellions effectively

Vikings counter them so heavily. If the opponent catches wind before you build up a critical mass they can win the air battle with reactored starport vikings. Vikings just seem to counter them too cost effectively with their bigger range, but I don't know how they can change that without ruining the balance of all other match ups.
