yeah, 1st place is safe. Just seems like demuslin is more confident to fight trimaster/qxc than idra is.

Next time, just write GG 2sec into the game, o need to waste our time.

Sorry guys but I think it's rather professional IF this is a set up, if they think DeMusliM got a better chance in the lower bracket then IdrA they should let him play lower bracket, EG should ALLWAYS do whats best for the team if thats IdrA now being definitly qualified for , and DeMusliM still got a pretty decent chance to reach ESWC aswell the thats a yes!

This is the qualifier only thing important is the amount of players they get on the event itself. Of course this is not the best for the spectators....But lets be honest....its even worse a top tournament like ESWC without IdrA cause IdrA is just a MUST HAVE for any tournament because of his attitude and all the history

Actually this may be a smart thing they did. Demuslims TvP is amazing. he wont lose in the lower bracket while idrA is not confident in his ZvP. And EG wants as many players in the ESWC.

Ye if you're going to throw the games, either do it good or just forfeit, that was just pathetic.

This series was a fucking joke, pretty much outplay idra the first three and throw away the two last on purpose. I've been following ben since he owned beta up but that right there was just shitting on the tournament/the followers.

Did you watch the first and third game? I think you're confused who outplayed who...

The last game seemed a bit sketchy though...idra went a safe 14hatch14pool like he knew a rush was about to come.

I'm pretty sure I saw someone go up 2-1 in a series and then donate his opponent the entire set.

Yeah , if you are ahead of a zerg economically and you throw your army away multiple times before eventually breaking the zerg , you basically outplayed the zerg.

Agreed. But we can't really justify it. Although we can't really prove it either........

Either way a EG member is out

I think those games were obviously rigged but for the reasons I think that idra doesn't want to go down to the losers bracket to possibly face minigun again and possibly losing
so instead they send demuslim down to take out minigun and most likely if idra can get through qxc we'll probably have a idra vs demuslim final.

but an idra vs demuslim final seems way less exciting now after that last fixed match.... could care less about the tourny now and that sucks >_>

It would be nice if someone from EG commented on the games. Until then, I'm not going to shit on EG and/or its players. I prefer not speculating.

I think if Demuslim beats Minigun he is cleared for ESWC. Top2 gets hotels payed + Invite. and top 4 gets a invitation

Doesn't have to beat minigun

If he beats Axlav, idra and demuslim are in top 4

Guys, Demuslim realized in at game 4, that the dates of the tournament were not possible for him to attend. He plans to forfeit against Axslav.

He finished out the series in a rather poor way, but finishing out the series was best so at least some games were displayed rather than a full forfeit.

Lol. People pretend SC2 is a professional sport. In a real sport you'd have suspensions if not bans for that behaviour. In SC2 its ok because its 'just' a qualifier, and also because its better for one of the most popular community players. No need to get into the tournament based on skill, right?

That's a shame - makes sense though. Thanks for the explanation.

coL will get atleast 1 player (possible 2) & EG already knows they get 2 players ESWC.

This makes it pretty sure there is no FIXing going on here, why would you fix against your own teammate (axslav) there's no sense in that, I am afraid DeMusliM just screwed up =)
Because this no favour the team in any way.
