After watching the stream Gretorp mentioned there was no public tourneys wish I found quite astonishing. As I am not that good but enjoy watching SC2 more than life itself I mentioned I would sponsor one with a 500$ first place prize but no one seemed to think I was serious. Well I am! All I ask for is front row seats on the action and if someone from TL wants to run it since I have NO CLUE on how to go about this I'll happily foot the bill and hell you can even slap on whatever ads of your choice for doing the leg work. All I know is that the 500$ would be enjoyed by all much more than strippers that would entertain for like 1 hour, this way I get a real bang for the buck! Any insight please let me know.

Hey missing some handsome streaming action!

Anyway here is something i noticed in your TvZ Reaper into blue-flame Hellions build: You take your second gas very fast with the reasoning that you want to be able to produce Reapers and tech quickly at the same time. Now if the Zerg doesnt take his fast exe, but goes for Zergling speed first (very common) then you stop Reaper production and prepare for the next phase (the blue-flame harass). The result is that you get a slight gas overhead, i noticed this in the first game of your last streaming session (the 53:33 one), first you had an overhead of ~200ish, later ~400ish, which delayed your expansion slightly.
Maybe i am off and your reasoning is that you want to be able to quickly start (Siege)Tank and or Viking / whatever gas heavy unit production, but on my part - i loove starting my expo with one gas and take the second one immediately afterwards.
I dont now if my thinking is too complicated, but one solution would be that you go for your second gas fast as usual, but if you see no fast expo, then you take the Scv's out of the second gas till you have started your CC.

Hope this might help. Dont have to say that i love your stream and overall thinking!

PS: I saw an interesting opening from CauthonLuck in TvP, where he did an early push with 1 Marine, 2 Marauder (+Shell upgrade) and a reaper (while already pushing). All from one barracks and while pushing he placed an expo CC. What do you think about this? One could still go to ~4 Barracks Ghost Marine afterwards, but as you keep saying, an offensivly placed expo is stronger than an defensive one. And it gives you the chance that your opponent screws up during your push, giving you an even greater lead.

Hey Gretorp. I just listened to your interview with TheAngelofDeath. You said that if you had to do it all over again, you'd probably pick Protoss to play in SC2, since it's better suited your style of play. My question is, why not switch to Protoss?

I think it would be kind of interesting to see a good player reinvent himself and try to learn a race from scratch. It'll be like going on a starcraft journey (from Protoss newb to bopper). Plus it would help your commentating since you'd have first-hand knowledge of every matchup aside from ZvZ.

Anyway, whatever you do, keep boppin dem clowns.
