I am reading JD's chat right now and remembering exactly why I always turn them off. Any time a stream gets above like, 500 viewers the quality of the chat immediately starts to plummet horribly. No amount of moderation can fix stupid. I will only turn it back on if I notice he's typing or whatever, and even then it's not really worth it. | ||

Ofc there's some decent people, but mostly it's just some random scrubs complaining about every single subject they can (like music, some people trash talk JD for some reason, trash talk his opponents.) I've read it a million times more than you have and I still don't pass biased judgment and spread hatred. Half you people just assume it's shit, but honestly. Try moderating a chat with over 5k+ people in it. Even with Slowmode 30s + it's just waves of text. It is nearly impossible to have a coherent conversation akin to TL. Perhaps everyone's expectations are too high of Twitch Chat? Regardless, not a reason to be trashing it left and right for no reason. I say this to everyone obviously, not just you Crbox. Personal grievances aside, Twitch is a direct sponsor of Teamliquid. So I would be mindful of calling it garbage left and right. | ||

We're not saying its your fault the chat is bad, like you said, it's beyond your control once it reaches a certain size. For most people, including me, the chat is unbearably bad in streams with high viewer counts so I disable it everytime. | ||
