Sadly, tonight would suggest not ![]()

There have been 5; Boxer, Nada, Savi0r, Flash, and Oov. Word is too sacred, yet doesn't know all of the Bonjwas or the number of them, made me giggle. Edit: Grammar/spelling

Idra is going to dominate 2012 and win GSL 3 Times and then of course never again becasue no one can break the 3 champion ship curse. GO IDRA!!!! THE FIRST BONJWA INCOMING! The term describes dominating performance over a long period of time. Thus, calling any sc2 player bonjwa or upcoming bonjwa does not do the term justice. In effect, one or both of two things will happen: 1) by using the term in a new way, it will change its meaning, and a new term for current and former bonjwa(s) in sc:bw will be required. 2) by using the term in a new way, it will become idiosyncratic and have more than one meaning. I'd argue that both of above are inferior solutions to one in which you simply: 1) don't use the term for sc2 players yet. or 2) use a different term for sc2 players. On a sidenote: I'd argue that the only person currently meeting aforementioned criterium for bonjwa is Flash. EDIT: I don't mean to sound harsh, but to some people the word actually does have a deeper, sacred and protected meaning. You're denying them this meaning by using the term, for the sake of stressing your own opinion of a player, without having a proper understanding of how the term has been used in the past, and what it actually refers to. It's kind of like refering to a person as God in a church filled with religious people just because that person finally beat supermario 3; Although you may have meant to just show admiration, you're insulting a lot of people.
