I've watched this stream now several times. My impression is that IdrA only streams to maximize money, he even runs commercials after 3min cheeze games. Today he even did two ads between on and another game. No other streamer does that. It seems quite greedy that adds to the fact that he never interacts with the crowd unlike many others. It doesn't appear that he cares much of his viewers.
Adding to this, he seems to be a sore loser in and general a not very respectful player, complaining about and flaming 'bad' other players (most likely unknown ones who play maybe <1/5 of IdrA's time). He even doesn't react to any glhf's from unknown players. But if there is any known player, he does. But today he even mocked (together with Sheth) about MaNa and DIMAGA being in the Assembly Summer finals.
Just wanted to share my limited impressions as a rather casual player. Seriously, this guy is not worth being feeded by watching his stream.

Gonna sound like a raving fan drone here, but if you don't like it, then fuck off. You don't miss any part of any of the games, and all that was promised was "ladder practice".

Did you even know who IdrA was previously to you viewing his stream?

Theres not really any other point to streaming.

i dont see how people can complain about adds after every game, you either watch an add or you watch his loading screen, one makes him money, one doesnt.

That's not true at all, people streamed before it got them money. Some people like fame/notoriety/attention. I'd hazard a guess that Idra also likes fame in that it validates him as a top tier player (not saying this logic is correct, but it likely has some part to play in his ego).
That being said, I agree that there's nothing wrong with him playing ads as often as he likes. If people like watching him play, they should realize he can only play full time because of the money he makes doing it. Playing ads also helps a little against sniping.

You can't complain about what idra does on his stream. If he doesn't glhf, who cares. People watch for his play not his manner.
The manner just comes with idra. I'm fine with it

Yeah, watching Idra's stream and then complaining about Idra being who he's always been seems a little odd. Part of why he's fun is that he just.. thinks what he thinks, says so, and doesn't care what anybody else's opinion is. Sometimes he's right, sometimes he's wrong, but either way with Idra you know exactly what you're getting going in.

Is Idra's stream running I hear GSL?

has he just forgotten his stream was on? it says it live and i'm getting sound but only black stream

Most streamers run commercials after every game, some run 2 if they're long games. He doesn't interact because most people watch his stream to either troll in his chat, watch a very skilled zerg play, or to catch some BM.

if that were true he would stream all the time which is something he doesn't do and he obviously could do if he wanted to
and about him being bm it's cool that we have players like him if everyone acted like sheth the scene would be that much more boring and bland

and as others have said, it's a choice between an ad or a load screen lol.

idra and sheth were not bashing dimaga and mana! they were just saying that tour didnt have any koreans(altho nada/huk were there but lost) and that it was easier and it even paid way more money then MLG lolol!
It was "easier" money!
BTW idra does stream for money and i thank him for it since it's very entertaining ;D

Man, PvZ is so boring to watch if the Protoss just does 2 base all ins. Idra went 2-2 against Hwangsin (not counting the close positions insta quit) and the games just felt really boring, being one sided in either way. No wonder Protoss players are doing so bad in Korea if the only innovation they can think of is to kill Zerg with an all in. We certainly won't see an MC vs Sen if Protoss continues to play like this.
Before, it was deathball, now its 2 base all in.

Yeah, that's probably the most bored I've been watching IdrA stream. Not surprised he bugged out. What's the point of playing games like that over and over?
