ive lost maybe 9 out of 10 today alone. i fear my entrance in masters will be met with a demotion to plat if this keeps up .... you know the builds.. korean 4 warpgate is really popular today for some reason..i prefer going a slower more methotical build scout a hundred times and still cant kill the pylons in my base before they finish ay tips or tricks or even a very defensive build order would be really helpful. | ||

You also do awesome job explaining why such and such works. As a protoss player I have a question if you don't mind answering. I also enjoy watching Huk's stream late night. And very often during his PvT, I realized he goes 3 wg with constant Stalker harrass up terran's ramp if he scouts no marauder in first few minute. And whenever Huk chooses to 3wg, he always gets it right, terran IS going for current-very-trendy siege tank marine push. Is there a specific way Huk's scouting what terran's doing? I usually scout his ramp during 4:20ish minute mark and if I see 4 marines, I can pretty much guess that terran's teching. But by then, my 3 wg pressure will come too late. How do you scout if terrans teching faster besides the gut feeling? Thank you! | ||

I'm guessing that it's probably somewhat map dependent and perhaps even opponent dependent, since at that level of play you often play the same guy many times. 2 refineries is a big tell but most Terrans won't let you see that. You may have just seen him get lucky a bit with it, combined with some educated guesses from opponent/map. It's not a terrible move against other Terran builds so I'm sure he's comfortable doing it even when he's not sure. And just a note to everyone else (like the guy who asked for some strategy advice earlier on this page), I'm generally not going to answer questions from viewers or posters in this thread. This guy gets a reply because he has a star, which means he's put in tons of time and effort contributing to TL.net, so he gets some contribution in return =] I may open up to questions a bit more later, but the general rule right now is no. | ||
