That 4-0 though. Turns out the way to beat Iceland defense is just two passes straight through the middle :D From defender to Griezmann goal in 7 seconds

He saw Griezmann making the run out of the corner of his eye and he had already decided what he was going to do. And credit to Griezmann for making the run. The movement and passing from France today was what elite club football level. Really enjoyed it. They took it easy second half which was to be expected,

Gomez was even more pivotal for the German team than Giroud is for France, so his loss really hurts Germany. Griezmann is on fire, so France have a definite advantage in attack. Despite Pogba I am not that impressed with France's midfield. Facing a decent midfield against Switzerland they weren't really dominating, but they still have enough power to create chances for their excellent offensive players against Germany. In spite of full back problems before the tournament, Germany's defense looks better than France's, conceding only one goal in a penalty. With Hummels out and maybe without Schweinsteiger and Khedira protecting the defenders, Germany might be more vulnerable, but I still give them the edge over France.

With Germany missing 4 crucial players, it may hurt them dearly, as they have no true striker and have lost one of the best CB in the world. However, France seems like the perfect team for Germany's strong attacking midfield core to come to life against (Özil, Müller, Draxler). Also, France has yet to face a truly strong opponent, while Germany has taken out a fellow tournament favorite. The game will be very close, truly a toss up.
