So 13-1 corners and barely stopping the ball in the penalty box numerous times is called bossing someone? Good to know.

Sorry this is right, but just cause he wants to avoid the blame for fielding Gomez, Kroos and Podolski this is no reason to blame for the strongest part of the German team this tournament. what has tournament performance to do with the goals today? both were HUGE individual mistakes. hummels played a perfect tournament so far and yet he played a big part in the 1-0. On June 29 2012 06:01 Ermac wrote: Cannot believe it. Everytime Germany plays vs Italy it's as if the stars re-align and everything goes sideways. Italy who wasn't able to hit an empty goal all tournament long suddenly score 2 goals with 2 chances. Germany who has always been effective in front of the goal just can't get the ball in. All the cards go to the Italian team, but always when it matters the referee makes wrong/strange/incomprehensible decisions in favor of the Azurri. Except for hardliners who go by the motto "the team that wins deservers to win" I don't think anyone honestly believes that Italy deserved this win. Unbelievable........... exactly that except the last sentence. they deserved to win today. as much as i believe germany has the better teamquality, italy played very well today and we played bad. so they won. also go italy, destroy spain!

What I mean is Löw is not protecting his players. Any good coach would take the blame on himself, he rather blames individual errors.

Italy were happy to concede corners, Balzaretti and Chiellini will eat them up all day long. Also, Italy had more crucial opportunities in the box, surprising you didn't notice that. Italy should really have won 4-0 or 4-1, if it weren't for the wasting of the second half opportunities. Buffon basically never had to show any brilliance to stop any attacks, Germany's attacking was snatching, you could feel they were pressured. It felt like watching Chelsea v Bayern again. I feel really sorry for Germany because I love their playstyle. The only real threat that I can remember was the early opportunity blocked by (Pirlo?).
