man. so sad.
Italy outplayed us hard. Well deserved win. Congrats.
Both goals the german defense looked horrible, like HUGE individual mistakes, i dont even know. Balotelli is scarily good. So is pirlo.
podolski did not do a single thing. I don't know why he even played. Like status or credit or w/e. At some moment it should be used up. I don't really like that part about löw's mentallity at all. If there are way better players, for godsake let them play. Reus did more in the first 5 minutes than podolski did in the whole first half.
My feeling tells me italy is gonna go the whole way now. Imo they played better than spain yesterday. But it's a close one.

Italians played amazingly today btw, clearly not enough people pay attention to the defending, because Chiellini had an insanely useful game and balzaretti was playing a blinder. Their defence is wonderful. Here's hoping that Balotelli will be able to perform against Spain. Although like I said I doubt it, it will probably go to pens

Oh man, Italy bossed Germany tonight. Hopefully Italy comes up with the goods against Spain. Forza Italia. Also Pirlo mvp of tournament
|
Cannot believe it.
Everytime Germany plays vs Italy it's as if the stars re-align and everything goes sideways. Italy who wasn't able to hit an empty goal all tournament long suddenly score 2 goals with 2 chances. Germany who has always been effective in front of the goal just can't get the ball in. All the cards go to the Italian team, but always when it matters the referee makes wrong/strange/incomprehensible decisions in favor of the Azurri.
Except for hardliners who go by the motto "the team that wins deservers to win" I don't think anyone honestly believes that Italy deserved this win. Unbelievable...........

Ok schweinsteiger was bad, but the referee was even worse.
Worst guy at the whole stadium was the groundkeeper though......

Well great game, cant wait for final
Will leave you gentlemen with this glorious gif of man of the match

I really like this new Italy. So fun to watch. Hope they can pull of a simular performance vs Spain in the finals. I had my money on Italy from the start. The reason was because i think that Germany lacks a real leader that brings the team together. They also have a lot of young platyers that lacks experience in these kind of situations. It's one think to play for your club then to play elimination games where your whole nation is counting on you.
|
I don't like Löw's attitude right now.
He blames the defense for the goals. Sorry this is right, but just cause he wants to avoid the blame for fielding Gomez, Kroos and Podolski this is no reason to blame for the strongest part of the German team this tournament.

really those groups didn't seem too hard... I expected the top 2 from each of those groups.

ahahah saw that live and was wondering if I could find a gif on tl :D

Wow, when Italy doesn't guard the posts with 11 people and Balotelli doesn't miss from 1 meter away they can sure play it.
Damn should have pushed for that bet that Italy could take it, even if I did think most likely it was Germany.
So sad for Ozil, he looked so bad @ that penalty shot.

And I agree Reus should have played from the start, very talented.
I think Germany had 13 to 1 corners. (don't nail me on the exact number though)

Italy deserved their win because they completely bossed Germany when they attacked, they took their time in attack, and the German defence was horrifying quite often.

hahaha loved it! great game from italy and they will win in the final because they are the team with the best football in this EC imo!

when i read things like "Lahm and Schweinsteiger have played badly all tournament. Their CL loss clearly influenced them."
Well what is your reason for their bad Euro?
why do i need any reason for schweinsteiger don't showing his best performance except for the netherlands game? i don't get you.

Unbelievable........... Wat. Italy should have score at least 2 more goals in the 2nd half. Germany on the other hand was very disappointing to say the least....especially in front of both end of the goal.

I agree, Ozil was the only one trying to make shit happen on Offense.. the rest of the german team seemed afraid to even get the ball into the box, passing backwards 3/4 of the time until Schweinstagger would make a terrible cross and the possession would change... aahhh
