Greece has two strong central defenders that are strong in the air so you have to beat them on the ground. Therefor it's good to have a striker that can play give-and-go with your other players because he actually can control the ball. Podolski and Müller just played bad throughout the tournament so far and a lot of fans were hoping that they would be replaced with Reus/Schürle/Götze. | ||

I think letting Klose, schürrle and reus start is quite a smart move: schürrle and reus are not known in international football and the Greek coach most certainly did not analyze these two players with his team. the Greek defense is set for gomez podolski müller. bringing klose schürrle reus will be quite refreshing and unpredictable. | ||
