Me and Alak are going to watch the games live. But always, the more the merrier. So if you are from the Gothenburg area, or able to get here at Sunday evening, just write in here.
Not sure exactly where we will be, it will depend on how many are interested in showing up. When we know we'll set up a good, easy-to-find meetup place and take it from there. We're not gonna organise anything ambitious, we just want to have more people to share the excitement with!

Time: I plan to be there from around 18.00, Alak will arrive around 19.15. Suggested time at meeting point is 19.30.
Meeting point: Outside the F building in the yard, the one surrounded by F, K and Matematiskt Centrum.
Directions: + Show Spoiler +If you're unsure how to get there, here are some brief directions from the tram stop Chalmers:
Walk to the big open area, under the "Chalmers" sign on the building. Go up the stairs and keep going up the hill. Once the hill levels out you'll pass Gustaf Dahlén-salen to your left. Just past that building there's a glass bridge extended between two buildings. Take the road underneath that bridge and you're there. Simple!

Is it unworkably dirty, or is it doable? The options in Johanneberg aren't that spectacular, unless I somehow can secure a hörsal.

Is anyone of you a D student at chalmers? Maybe we could borrow that slightly larger room in basen? (It has a projector). I know at least some D students have a small bw interest. Have a slight fear that a hörsal might be too big (and possible cold) unless lots of people show up. But maybe you can't loan/book that...

Thoughts running through my head, I could easily buy a 1080p projector and a "duk" (and return it on monday lol) but mounting all that shit would be quite the hassle, and my computer is quite shit for any adequate streams.

Well ppl could just bring laptops etc and you steal/borrow/break a room at chalmers or something. Then all we need is a good connection an a router / switch. But sure a projektor most def. would be better -,-v

A mate of mine has booked Gastown for this Sunday. There's some uncertainty over how well NOMAD will cope with streaming in there, but that might be able to be tested beforehand.

The room contains a projector and speakers, but we'll need cables for audio and video, so if you have some, please bring it along with you. awesome, the projector has a vga-cable there, so it's not necessary to bring any cables for the video.
The audio in FB is a bit more tricky, someone has to bring 3.5->2xRCA cables (male-male). Unfortuantely I bought 3.5->2xRCA (male-female) so my cables wont work.
For internets:
NOMAD/eduroam should be enough, but 3g-access might be nice to have as backup, if someone has usb-modem-thingy that could be useful, although it's solvable using smartphones as wifi-hotspots aswell

hmm, i can only think of "exercishuset" or maby one of the in-doors tennis houses near ullevi, but im pretty sure that exercishuset is to small and then its only the tennis house left (in Kungälv there was a pretty big LAN in our tennis house so i think that it whould work there, but i have no idea if its to expensive or to small...
but if there is a lan in GBG where TL-starcraftplayers gather i will be there for sure
GL finding a location and HF planning and organizing the LAN,

Did you ever meet to watch the OSL or MSL finals? That would be a GREAT idéa and I would love it if such a meeting took place in GBG!!
