Don't argue with him. HE KNOWS FOR SURE who will win the tournament. His knowledge of foreign scene is UNIVERSAL and ALL-EMBRACING.

yes 2nd'd
Dimaga is the 2nd best foreign Zerg and A2 is the 3rd best foreign T(ffs he took 1 game off JD)
Saying they have no chance just shows that you are completely clueless about the foreign scene. Sure Idra has a better chance, but these 2 have just as good a chance as Ret considering his ZvZ.

You know what else sucks?

With all the abusers gone, the line will be probably drawn so much lower than 9700+ that it is now. However, some people thought they should be trying more and decided to "gamble" a few more games hoing to get some (unneeded as it seems eventually) extra points.

For example Lz is now sitting 9110 cause he saw that his 9600+ would not be enough. Now even with all the abusers gone he might still not make it. And he's just an example, I'm sure there are more people screwed by this whole thing.

Is this really DIMAGAs answer or just some troll?
I refuse to believe this is what he has to say in this case!

This guy is not like 14years old afaik - those smileys are just retarded!
The F91 answer did at least show some backbone - even though it might be Ash to honor for that...

I really hope i am not rageing on some troll post...

The man registered on TL in 2004, I can't imagine someone got that account only to use it for a troll 5 years later ^^

Coming from you that means very little to me. I was good friends with several of the top coaches and managers. I've been to many a clan war and I'm telling you these guys wouldn't win this tournament. A2 and Dimaga might have made the top 16, or Round of 8 but they most certainly wouldn't win it. I am very familar with both of their styles and I know what potential they have. For example, A2's Terran has always been very suspect against Zerg. Ret has a ridiculously good record against him. Right about now, I would start talking about F91 as A2 and F91 were teammates on MYM., but it's irrelevant because F91 already got caught.

Now then substandard, exactly who are you to say these guys would actually win it? Matter of fact, did you even say that. No, you didn't. All you said is they would reach the top ten. Did I dismiss that? NO. Now, ask yourself the question again? Would these two players win the entire thing? Simple answer: NO. They are long shots.

Verbatim: NO. They would not win this tournament.

EDIT: Bifur, coming from you that means little to me. Don't take what I said out of context. I know A2 almost as well as you and just because you are his countryman (we know you Russians have a great sense of pride, you don't have to preach it) and fought many a war with him doesn't mean you can negate facts. He hasn't played solidly in a while. Hell, the kid has been on and off for ages. When he's on his A game he is a very, very good player but no one other than his fellow countrymen and a few other fan boys would expect him to win this thing because the competition has risen tenfold since A2's hay day.

With that said, as much as I would looove to say who is going to win this thing. I don't. But, I can give you a shortlist of 5 to 8 players who most likely would.

Last year I chose NonY over JF. Close but no cigar. I was very close selecting my fellow countryman and it wasn't out of blind faith, but because I was quite familiar with him as well.

Now, then sir. What do you have to say to that?

Now I don't know the president of blizzard, or know for sure that david Kim is in fact Nada. I drove my car to the car wash today and the doors froze shut and I couldn't get out till I ran the heat on high for 10 minutes. I am very familiar with this game starcraft and I'm telling you that bigger upsets have happened. Don't say that any of the guys that qualify Can't win the tournament.

What? What could they possibly say that would make you go... "oh well... that's fair and reasonable. rock on." Please elaborate. These are not guesses at possible abuse, these are clear instances of ladder abuse with clear evidence. There's nothing to say about that, no wonder they are not all over the forums trying to make themselves clear.

The only acceptable post they can make now is a final apology before disappearing. (and I hope they dont make that like Dimaga's ridiculous "attempt".)

hes not the third best foreign t and neither of them had an appreciable chance of winning the whole thing, certainly not as good as ret's. dimaga is very good yes, and its not inconceivable that he could win, but it would be a very large long shot. rets zvz isnt as good as his other matchups but hes still not an underdog vs any foreign z, especially with f91 out of the picture, while dimaga would be the underdog vs at least a handful, and 50/50 vs quite a few others.

I think all DQ'd players that write an apology note, should atleast post a reppack to the fans that have been following and cheering for them all through the ladder stages, i mean its much better than a "Dam i fucked up! ggs!"
