Well, both of you guys are correct. Back then, he was in Canada, hence being Canada's representative in WCG 2001, now he lives in the USA.

yosh is retardedly good. if he's not in top 10 at the end it's only because he stops playing.

who is this yosh, some old gosu or a new guy? haven't seen him before i think.

Yosh is god

Yosh is a VERY old school canadian player and actually the first (foreign at least) terran to effectively play mech vs zerg (like 8 years ago). He's been around forever and sometimes just comes out of nowhere and does really really well and disappears afterwards.

he's american, not canadian

he has duel citizenship, he played for Canada at WCG 2001

edit - beat to it

speaking of Canada though, did anyone notice that Missions is playing in this? Now there's an ID that brings me back

Look 3 of the 5 match was 10 min or less that mean 3 thing :

1- all in succed or fail

2- cheeze succed or fail

3- or a big mistake by White-ra

Idra consistently beats White-Ra, as he should. It's not a surprise to see that in his match list.

1 or 2

White-ra is known for mixing up. IdrA saw it coming :o

so what you're saying, basically, is that either whitera failed or idra was successful at whatever they were doing..?

we don't know what happened in those games; for example you left out timing attacks

also how do you know if it wasn't whitera cheesing/all-ining all three games? or if they both cheesed at the same time but idra's cheeses were simply better each time? you can't make any assumptions and say that it was either an all-in or a cheese without seeing the replays

and personally, i think 10 minutes is too long of a duration to say that it was either a cheese or an all-in; 8-6min would be a better boundary imo

either way, it doesn't change the fact that idra destroyed whitera 5-0

No, that isn't what I'm saying.

White-ra is known for mixing up his strategy:

a) timing pushes
b) proxy allins

IdrA is known for his standard mechanical play.

*The length of the game and map gives us a lot of information*

As you said it is all speculation, but I would lean more to White-ra failing to have his way with IdrA and perhaps IdrA beating him with a timing attack of his own in one game.

haha yeah yosh is VERY good. he's american terran though; goes to uc berkeley grad school. he's hit A on his smurf account with like 75% winning vs Koreans. he's fucking good.
