Well, both of you guys are correct. Back then, he was in Canada, hence being Canada's representative in WCG 2001, now he lives in the USA.

Yosh is a VERY old school canadian player and actually the first (foreign at least) terran to effectively play mech vs zerg (like 8 years ago). He's been around forever and sometimes just comes out of nowhere and does really really well and disappears afterwards.

so what you're saying, basically, is that either whitera failed or idra was successful at whatever they were doing..?

we don't know what happened in those games; for example you left out timing attacks

also how do you know if it wasn't whitera cheesing/all-ining all three games? or if they both cheesed at the same time but idra's cheeses were simply better each time? you can't make any assumptions and say that it was either an all-in or a cheese without seeing the replays

and personally, i think 10 minutes is too long of a duration to say that it was either a cheese or an all-in; 8-6min would be a better boundary imo

either way, it doesn't change the fact that idra destroyed whitera 5-0

No, that isn't what I'm saying.

White-ra is known for mixing up his strategy:

a) timing pushes
b) proxy allins

IdrA is known for his standard mechanical play.

*The length of the game and map gives us a lot of information*

As you said it is all speculation, but I would lean more to White-ra failing to have his way with IdrA and perhaps IdrA beating him with a timing attack of his own in one game.
