it's the fact that he reached A+ which is admirable.. not the way in which he did it. mkay

Idra has played almost nothing but Koreans, both A and A- rank. How is that a bad thing? You know that there's far fewer A players on at any given time than players of lower ranks, right?

For sure playing only A+ Koreans would have been more epic but they are no shame to get to A+ playing A- players and a couple of A. Actually it is really impressive especially because i'm almost sure that Idra doesn't dodge people. But well you know you can't always find A+ or A opponents so he has to play A- edit: lol Steve you made the same post than me.

Actually I'm also impressed by Yan as well, doing damn impressive considering he is a 2s player. I knew he was good but I didn't know TSL top 10 good.

Ok, not really learn, more like highlight^^ You see kolls decision making getting worse and worse the longer and more stressfull the game went. From that im remembered how important staying clam an rethinking the game is. You can see how dreiven plays with his reiinforcement timings, this reminds me, as an unexperienced player, never to forget this when planing something as a zerg. I learned not to attack a reaver, cannon, templar defended base over and over until i lose even if i had quite an advantage^^. I learned that it may often be better to wait for my 2nd observer when trying to break out of a lurker contain even if i really wanna have it gone^^. Dreiven could have won earlier had he attempted more Storm Drops, so im reminded to be persistent with drops. It also made me ask myself why tosses have to push out before beeing able to have efficient anti templar snipe tech like DA or enough archons. Do Protoss usally win if they can survive until they have DAs with say two mining bases? Overall it was just a fun game to watch with more than 1 turning points.

That's just my theory. You know, you develop such theories when you keep checking this page several times a day to see how Kolll is doing. I haven't watched any replays yet, so I cannot back it up. The thing is, even without having watched any gamess by Kolll, I get the feeling from all the comments and details I have seen to far that he isn't yet a very complete player, not a good a people make him out to be yet. He has a few things down really well, but lacks a lot of things. Therefore, he needs to do things in his own pace, while someone like Idra by not would be able to do well without much of an effort. He says that pressure doesn't get to him, but perhaps the situation is. I hope he will be putting in a healthy more fully fledged effort within the next 48 hours. Mostly due to my selfish need for seeing him in the qualification, I guess, once I have times for watching replays again (insanely busy with a university project). Also just in terms of the ladder, it would be good to see him play more games against top foreigners to see how he fares.

it seems to me that camping at mid 9000's is a much better idea than risking qualifying by continuing to play O_O
