Usually people are banned for bashing Blizzard, so it's refreshing to have a Blizzard basher basher banned.

A few small changes to the tone and I'm all behind this. like remove "MORON", "and your infinite wisdom" and "fucking". Then the post is perfectly fine and something I'd consider +1.

No but the post i banned was "lol you dumb" so that felt like a decent response. Guy has 38 mod notes now. In hindsight i should have written "lol you dumber" instead but eh, everyone makes mistakes.

I still find confusing that people are still thinking that the team actually balancing the game starcraft 2 has anything to do with the team that designed/balanced StarCraft and Brood War, apart from a part of the name of the company...
Sorry for the godwin worth example, but it would just sound like saying that you dont wanna buy anything that was made in germany nowadays cause 70 years ago their companies participated in the war effort of the nazis. And since it's the same name it has to be the same people so you are boycotting them...

At least Chris Metzen stayed for the entire franchise and gave us a worthy successor to the original story. Wait...
And the knowledge and experience gained by the studio does transfer in a way. Companies do study what went well, and what went poorly from previous games, and working with people with experience does rub off. And no studio has more experience RTS-making than Blizzard.
