If your only grudge is that elephant article, then you need to get over it. That elephant article was written because the some of the worst BW players, were the best in SC2 (MarineKing, MC, MVP, FruitDealer, IntotheRainbow, Nestea, Bomber, Squirtle, MMA, Hyun, Parting, Leenock, Dongraegu, etc). You're going to tell me "that there's different skill sets for different games". My reply to you will be how many ex BW players won a GSL?

That whole "skill sets argument" would be valid if there were a lot of different people that didn't play BW and won a GSL. Fact is, all these guys share one common trait, they played BW.

Also, the elephant article was also written around the time SC2 came out because we expected the Kespa players to transfer over upon the games release. The full transfer didn't happen until 2 years and 9 months later.

Is the article bias? Yes. But should the writers opinion make you "not like" any of the Kespa players? Hell to the no. because you will have more people to root for when one of your favorites let you down. Sure, you will see me in threads arguing about how great the Kespa players really are. I used to practice with them on BW. I understand that you don't know how great they are simply because you didn't come from BW.

Bare in mind that you had to do everything manually in BW. You couldn't select all buildings at once and rally them. You had to do it one at a time. Everything had to be done individually such as clicking each Barracks and clicking M for marine. There were only 12 units per hotkey. So to move, you had to 1a click+ 2a click + 3a click + 4a click, on top of the manual macro. You couldn't rally an SCV from a command center to go to a mineral patch. You had to move it there manually after it came out of the command center. Why am I telling you all this?



Because It will be worth it in about a year
