i guess not, your level of knowledge for the specific subject should be enough to explain to a certain member how to do something or advise him in a proper way.
like translating from your primary language to English and vice verse.

Yeah this is fantastic... I can think of many uses for it, and will most likely come to it in the future. =)

I wish i could help with something major i really do, but im not really a expert on anything.
I can translate english <-> danish should the need ever arise, but other than that i doubt that i can show any specific expertise.
There should be a section for nerdness or something, i know lots of crap that doesent matter shit :D

Shouldn't law also be subdivided by nation or region, seeing as the practice of law can be very different in different parts of the world?

I think my English --> French translations could be ok Nevertheless my French --> English would probably be a bit sucky ( but i don't think people here would need it )
I suck for basicly everything else ( even if study math/economics i can't really give advice to people after highschool lol ).

I can do math up to calculus C Edit: nevermind, my Japanese sucks, ignore that

TheYango, it is unlikely that a consultation on TL would require the user to delve into the specifics of law that's different vastly from state to state, imo, and a preliminary talk with the person in question would easily allow the one seeking consultation to know.
Physician, I am just wondering, aren't you at liability here if you give out any kind of advice? While I highly doubt that any TL member would turn on one another, your advice of those nature I believe are still legally regarded as medical in nature, which puts you in a position that I'd rather not be in.

Wow this is fantastic.
I guess my focus would be International Relations (falls under politics i guess for heading) specifically National (US Canada) and international security issues, terrorism policy for G8 nations. I have a fairly deep understanding of military history, US doctrine and their applications to modern conflict.
Also i coach TL nerds on how to get girls cause most are useless. I can provide letters of reference for real yo.

This reminds me i should really do the follow ups on my media encoding for youtube lol there is alot of aviscript i didn't teach that is useful for anyone that wants to edit then encode. Also reminds me of i should make a list of shit you shouldn't steal from torrents because free alternative is usually good enough thread always meant to make that thread too. maybe in another 3000 posts

I have an absurd amount of free-time in college to do repetitive dumb tasks for TL, if needed.
edit: I'm a accounting/finance major I don't think TL needs any help doing payrolls or taxes
