We are reviewing feedback and are very likely to update a few things in the upcoming days. Thank you for being patient. Preliminary list here. -Hot_Bid YOU CAN CLICK THE TL BANNER INSTEAD OF THE HOME BUTTONYou can turn on the LoL forum/D3 forum by clicking 'other' in the filter. |

Nice changes.
However when I scroll over the forums button, it no longer brings up a drop down menu where I can immediately go to the SC2 forums. That is annoying. I have to click, then click on the SC2 forums. Be nice if you could set the forums you wanted to default to via a filter, or bring back the drop down menu.

This would be SO good to integrate with GSL, MLG, etc etc. Make one universal calendar. It's got an interface all setup for adding events, syncing, updating, filtering, hiding, etc. Would be WAY good to replace current calendar functionality with a Google Calendar. Ref: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=380375 I'm not sure how feasible this is as the calendar is the basis of the event system.

Filters are set ONCE and never touched again. So why are they given so much emphasis and real estate? When a user hits your homepage, you have to ask:
What are the most important things for them to see? What are they trying to find? What do you want to promote as a company? How can you minimize the number of clicks to get somewhere?
From a design/usability standpoint, some of the changes do not make sense.
- By convention, Home should always be the left most item in the main navigation. - By convention, your login name / user profile should be in the top right corner - I used to be able to get to Starcraft 2 forums straight from Homepage. Now I have to click Forum and then click Starcraft 2 Forums and that link is super small. If I stay on main forum page, I have to scroll down to the bottom of the page to see Starcraft 2 forums. I have to pass through a bunch of unrelated forums and forums already on the sidebar. Why do people visit TeamLiquid.net? Is it to browse your Tech Support forum? or your TL Community forum? Probably not. So why are those placed higher than your main gaming forums??
IMO, main activities for users are to browse the forums related to their games (SC2, DOTA2, etc), check out who's streaming, check out if any major tournament is streaming, and read up on news related to their games. Those are the things you should emphasis on your homepage. Right now, there is way too much content clustered in random place. Help your users focus. Hire a graphics designer. Hire a website designer. Hire a usability expert.

how do I hide all the dota 2 news from the "Community News" on front page? since I do not watch dota 2 or read any of news related to it.

^ Its actually a good point, filters shouldn't be priority, in terms of space, who is constantly modifying and changing their filters? ninjamysts whole posts seems to be kinda on point, there are some weird decisions made about the overall layout of TL.
Also #bringbackmyposts + Show Spoiler +I know they still exist, shh, I'm starting a movement

1. You should. 2. Click the dota 2 button on the top menu bar next to where it says "Filter:" If it is sunken in then you don't see news of that type.

Nice clean-up overall.
But I have to echo some of the sentiments here:
- Finding the Home button on the left was a lot more intuitive than semi center where it is now.
- Not sure how often people change their filter settings. I for one set them once and that was it. Now the filter buttons are always there, very prominently, even though I have no use for them really.
- A one-click My Posts button was really helpful. I used it a lot to quickly refresh my memory on what I had posted when and where. Subscribed Threads is not chronological when it comes to your own posts. It also does not directly take you to your own posts but only to either the top or the last unread post of a thread.
- As for the dropdown login bar, I also feel it would be good if the dropdown state persisted so that you don't have to click the arrow again on each page load. Also, seeing all that dead space there now, I wonder why it was made dropdown in the first place. Something to be put there in the future?

Overall, everything looks slick. Immediately I feel like the buttons overall are too small. Could there be a way to adjust your personal icons Topleft? Perhaps a personal control panel to adjust the sizes? Additionally, clicking on your name should link to your profile, I really liked the functionality of that from the old UI.

I want "MY POSTS" back, single click edition. I can haz?
