If you mean how I found TL: it was during the SC2 beta when Husky or HD did a shoutout or a name drop or something like that.
If you mean how I got staffed: I just contributed a lot to the wiki, and redid a lot of old template stuff I didn't agree with and then got promoted and promoted and promoted until I was staff.....

How easy would it be to build a script to auto-temp-ban anyone who has posts with the words "herp" and "derp"?

That would get rid of a lot of low-quality posts.

I took 90x90 screenshots of progamers, uploaded them to imageshack, and bugged PoP in the TLPD feedback thread. Eventually he got so tired of me annoying him he just let me have the keys so I could give the whole thing a whirl.

Can I get my report button instead of waiting the full year? I've technically been here long enough when counting my old account so I know how things work around here. I'm pretty active in reporting users and not being able to anymore is terrible.

I was helping out with the old Pro Team Rosters thread, because I knew Hangul (which was enough to navigate KeSPA's site) and TL was severely deficient in Korean speakers at the time. At some point I found out PoP was working on an actual database to replace it. I offered to help, and PoP rewarded me by having me kidnapped and chained up in TL's basement.

I would love that. I don't know why, but for some reason herp derp irritates more than any other meme I can think of. If I could ban on a whim...

I found TL through a Klazart shout-out. I found Klazart searching youtube after hearing a CBC radio documentary on proleague Starcraft. As for modding? Dunno- I posted long-winded and generally level-headed posts over a extended period of time?

I googled for BW replays and found TL (but no replays).

I then hijacked TL's Youtube account and started uploading BW VODs.

I went to BWWI Paris and opened Manifesto7's beer with my bare hands. He staffed me 2 days later.

I was just curious about the MLG song which is like a techno one. I can't really explain which it is but It is the main theme of mlg. when the games finish the streams always play it first. where in the video the team players jump on themselves to celebrate in joy.. .More like a bass tone and a guitar accompanying it. I ''guess'' it is played while adv. are in progress to the people in EU since they dont see the adv. makes sense? ummm. I heard it while watching mlg 2011. when I click the red or blue stream it first shows the video and plays the song.. it doesnt have lyrics. sounds like this : boom chaka boom chak, boom boom, chaka boom chak. if it helps<3 love you
