I only played Hon in the last couple of years, but favorite hero is by faaaar Devourer/Pudge.
I think (not sure if he was patched in dota) he is far better in Hon though. His hook is at max range (1000) on lvl 1 already.
So basically you become a killing machine at lvl 2 already, I love it  Got to a pretty decent rating with that guy <3

I also mostly played HoN... Solo mid Wretched Hag (QoP) and Soulstealer (shadow fiend I think? he's better in hon) all the way!

At the skill level I'm in, positions don't matter... if I am Crystal Maiden laning with Faceless Void I still feel tempted to go for cs because I have no faith in my teammate's ability to last hit.

I really like to play mid, but generally the guys I play with are like extremely high level, so I play awesome support lich
For mid, I like Shadow Fiend, and now after my first game with Night Stalker I like him as well. I liked drow for a bit, but when she got buffed everyone called me drow picker and stuff, so now I just pick her when the situation calls for a ranged carry.

Motbob I didnt even know you played dota, you should play with us. Jump into spawning pool and we are playing most of the time.

Yeah the vast majority of the eve corp actually just spends their time playing dota.

not sure what games are considered indie, but I play lots of weird games no one else plays, so those are probably indie.
