I somehow became a mechanic and now run my own shop fixing boat engines. I also fix cars by request and make some extra on the side with some web projects and a little retailing online. Generally I'm one of those people that make money off everything I can get my hands on.

I have a question re the acquisition of Sea. Did you guys know ahead or just about the same time as the community, @Nazgul tweet? If you knew ahead, how was the discussion within the team? I am sure there was a bit of a riot with the name "Liquid'Sea"!

It's obvious there are stock warning/ban reasons but are there stock mod notes as well?
Can a thread have multiple mod notes at the same time eg. a visible and a hidden mod note or is it limited to just one per thread?

Mod notes are typically just a list of the warnings/bans a person received. The only other mod notes are if one of the mods decides to leave a specific comment on someone's profile so then it's always unique.
Regarding the job and studies thing, I studied clinical psychology for four years then did my master's in behavioural finance and am currently interviewing for investment banking jobs. So the jobs I'm looking at now are completely different fron what I had in mind when I started studying but it is what I've wanted to do for the last few years.
Regarding the Sea acquisition, that depends on your level of staff and the kind of job you do. Personally, I didn't know anything about it so it was an awesome surprise.

Is there a way u can nominate some one for a quality poster star, like u noticed all their posts to be very informative, polite and overall well formatted.
While they may not make standout articles, or amazing thread, but they certainly provide quality posts. Which is kinda what the star is for right?

Nah, that star is a reward for posters who tirelessly work to help the community in some way, not just quality posts. For example, juicyjames, the most recent recipient of the star, did the research for and posted his "This Week in Starcraft 2" article every week for more than a year. yakii, the only recipient of two stars, updated the small vod thread for many years by posting links to every pro Starcraft game that was played in an organised place.
There's no official award for posters who just consistently make quality posts. Perhaps you can just send them an IM thanking them for being a good poster? I'm sure they'd appreciate it if someone notices the effort they put into their posts.

Hello there TL staff.
I'm looking for a brave volunteer to help answer some questions about TL as a site and as a community for an academic paper i'm doing for my BA. Some of the questions are on rather "big" topics of TL (daily post count, post distribution, site traffic, staff numbers ect...) so the "higher up" the staff member willing to help me is the happier ill be and the better my paper will be. I don't have much to ask and hopefully it will only take about 10-15 min on a skype call.
I can send the questions on Email, site PM, skype call or pretty much any way that will be comfortable for you at any time of the day or night.
I'm hoping its not much to ask and that there is a willing person out there on TL

I am well aware of that but whatever answers I can get I will be grateful for, I hope not all the things I would like to know are of that nature.

I think your best bet would be to PM Hot_Bid about it. If it's possible, he'd be the person most likely to help you. If not, he's in a position to tell you that.
