But this is a clear example of a mob mentality, something the US doesnt need more of. Also beauty isnt something to be revered for. So what if somebody got blessed with a genetic lottery, had a great life and developed their genetic symmetries. It should only be about 40 percent of the contest, the other 60 percent should be based on accomplishments and talents. Which she may have, however, many of the others contestants, do not. Shes decent looking, but wont win. Good luck to her though. I wont vote.

Every 1st world nation in the world seems to value this at an unconscious level, except for a good portion of the up and coming youth in the US, which has images of wealth flashed on them in ever increasing fashion. And as a result, society will continue to degenerate as a result, as will the evolutionary standard in which we hold ourselves up too. Go to any other pageant in the world, and the women require both talents and degrees to participate. All I can say, keep on keeping on. People will eventually learn, the hard way.

uNcontroLable's Public Profile: When I competed in Miss Oregon this year, my director tried to get me to take "enjoys video games" out of my competition resume...but I wouldn't. She supports gaming so we <3 her.

How is this related to the topic at all? You've already said you aren't voting. Duely noted. Lets move on.
