Wow didn't expect quite a big response! I'll be posting more info a bit later because I'm at work but it will be Monday July 18th from 12-5 at GamerzFunk in Taylorsville. If you can't make it some people are joining us online through Battle.net.

I am one of the people in Panda's group. If you would like to go but aren't sure if you have transportation we might be able to work something out. A lot of us work together at the same warehouse, but we live all around the valley. It may turn out one of us is your neighbor and we weren't aware

I am out of town at the moment but will be back at the start of next week. I would love to get a bigger community feeling in our games and events. If you know other people in our area who play have em join our group on facebook as well. Crazed Pandas (named after our fearless leader). WE ARE NOT A CLAN OR official TEAM. Merely a group of friends who love Starcraft and for the most part live in Utah!

Hey everyone! We have finalized all the details for the tournament on July 18th at GamerzFunk in Taylorsville.
Swiss Golden Panda Open!
Please sign up there. The more people we have the better this event will be. This is a really low key and low skill level tournament so everyone is invited. We originally had it set to not invite Grand masters but figured it would be alright and that we probably wouldn't win if they came.

We just want to create a great event for the Starcraft 2 community in Utah to meet new people and have a great time so please sign up!

I'll be there for sure StuBob! I'm excited and it should be sweet. I'm not sure how the prizes will be distributed with as many games as they are anticipating. But, they have said that there will be an SC2 tournament (as well as other games like LoL, Brawl, Magic: The Gathering, Poker, Fifa, and who knows what else). Hope you all can attend, it's free with free food! Doesn't get much better than this!

Also, I just wanted to say sorry to those that attended the GamerzFunk tournament because I failed to announce it on the blog. I intended to announce it but just got caught up with real life stuff (stupid real life). Anyway, my apologies to the host of that tourney.

Hey Toyomaha no worries about the GamerzFunk tournament. It went well! We had around 13 people there and did a double elimination tournament. The results are on the thread posted about it above.

We want to do more but realize that high entry fees aren't good and the venue was the reason for our higher entry fee.

Yeah we looked at doing tournaments there but due to their hourly rates and limited amount of computers we figured we wouldn't get the turnout we wanted. Glad to hear it went well though! Hope to see everyone at Nerdapalooza.
