August 20, 2011 - Update: We need more for future TL Opens and other events. If anyone has guest passes lying around we'd really appreciate them!
The response was amazing last time, and there were far too many of you to thank individually, but please know that we really appreciate everyone who sent in a key.
Please DO NOT post keys in the thread.
Email support ta teamliquid.net with subject line Guest Pass and the key in the email (Guest Pass keys are region specific, so please state which server it's for).
I have two passes, ones used and ones new but i dont kno which is which, do i just send both? Its nice to be able to contribute to the inaugural SC2 TSL.

Thanks for the offer, but we only need guest passes

no, only sc2

I'm not 100% sure, but I think digital downloads did not come with guest passes, only physical box purchases

Just send us both, and we'll know when we try to add it to an account.

The guys should also be extra careful with the 7h limit
that is a good point, i would rarther risk being spoiled in TL open(just the qualifers) than TSL3 semi finals ect
incidently.. if anyone has any spare SEA ones i need 2 or 3.. a friends moving to germany and wants to have a nice weekend of gaming before he goes ;_;
Ok i just sent 2 EU passes but only one will work since i've already used one. Can't remember which one though since it was like 3 months ago so just try both and one will definitely work. Good luck with running the tournaments!

It's not about the build orders, but to prevent spoilers about the winner. Since the matches are streamed from replays, there are bound to be some people who look up the accounts of the players and post spoilers in threads or the chat.
Been wondering what to do with these, since all my friends bought the game at the same time as me. TSL seems like a worthy cause. Two EU keys sent off.
As a side note, I wish they'd use a block font for the codes, on one of my cards is almost impossible to see if it's supposed to be an S or a 6 at one place.

Shady, but meh, anything for TSL.
I can already imagine the scene - Guard is coming and asking what are you doing, and you drop the SC2 box, and run for your life. After getting caught the guy asks you - "why the hell do you need guest passes anyway?" and you answer - "For TSL3" :D
Anyway, might send you the passes if I'm actually able to find the box. It's not like I need those passes anyway.

The BO hider maps hide everything from the results, the match appears as a tie and when you click on it, it just gives you and error.
edit: just checked myself, it shows match duration and nothing else
I think I have like 5 guest passes left for EU. But I'm at work now so I can't check if it's 5 or 4 since I have 2 sc2 accounts and 1 guest pass from wow cata. I gave atleast 1 away.
Atleast the guest passes are going to be usefull instead of going to no posters or people that just wants to have guest pass and do nothing in return.
This is probably a completely redundant suggestion, but wouldn't the most efficient solution be to contact Blizzard and get the required number of guest passes directly from them?
On January 06 2011 23:20 Avelestar wrote: My passes are SEA
SEA accounts get a free North America account thing to access the NA servers. just apply it (sea.battle.net or whatever, log in, theres "add game - starcraft 2 NA servers" or something like that) and viola, you have 2 new passes.

No, SEA passes can't be used for NA.
why not? just curious
I tried adding a SEA guest account key to an account, and it picked it up as SEA server only. I didnt see an option to 'convert' it to a US guest account.
Bump, we have just enough for the next few TSL3 rounds, but we need more for future TL Opens and other events. If anyone has guest passes lying around we'd really appreciate them!

I have one lying around for NA, I'll try and remember and send it off when I get home. Glad to be able to do something to support all the awesome games.
Just checked my case, there were 2 passes in it for EU server. I have send them to the specified email adress.
As a way to save passes you could mayby have multiple people use the same account. You would only need 2 passes per 14 days per server.
Also have you guys contacted Blizzard, considering the size of teamliquid and the fact that Blizzard supposedly is backing esports surely they could trust you people with a few guest passes for a TSL. Which btw has been awesome so far, even though Grubby is not in it. Grubby winner of TSL4 though
